I’m dedicating this post to my sister @hytee_oni She literally planned my convocation from the beginning to the end and she’s not here 😂 How do Yoruba say that “Dada o Le ja, o ni ore to Le ja” she’s my ore. She legit was the event planner. I would share a recap soon✨She ordered my dress from @_stitchesbyaisy_ 6 month to my convocation 😭😂I was literally signing out. I stalled on giving her my measurements so it eventually came 1-2 month before the Convocation.
My sister my sister. Thank you for all you do. Thank you for forcing me to attend my convocation. Thank you for pushing me when I act lackadaisical. Thank you for acting like my life is yours at times😂and I have so gotten used to it. To the extent that, I choose to act nonchalant at times cause I know she will handle it. Thank you for everything you do. I can’t wait to celebrate your wins. I can’t wait to do olugbeja on your wedding day and act like it’s mine🤣Oversabi sister of course! I can’t wait to celebrate all your ambitions and dreams coming into reality. I love you and I’m grateful ❤️Still doesn’t change the fact that you are the most annoying sister I know, tho😏 I pray God grant you m, peace of mind and eternal joy and happiness. I pray you achieve all you want to. May rewarded of men reward you. I love you so much @hytee_oni

Pls wherever you see my sister, just hug her and tell her thank you @hytee_oni ❤️

If there was no her, there would have been no glam team cause I won’t have gone for my convocation 😂

Today makes it one month since I graduated from the University of Lagos.

It honestly took me a full month to process how huge that achievement is. I wasn’t even excited about finishing school because my mind was already racing ahead; what happens next? Where’s the job waiting for me? Especially the kind my late dad always envisioned for me, the one he was preparing. It felt less like celebration and more like preparing for another battle.

Yes… it’s now official. Late dad. Reality has clocked in.

I was so sure I wouldn’t attend my convocation because he wasn’t going to be there. But guess who was forced to go? And I’m grateful they did. Looking back at the pictures and memories, I realize there’s still so much to be thankful for.

I see people share touching stories about how tough school was for them. Mine? It was surprisingly smooth. Not that I didn’t have challenges, but somehow it all worked out in the end.

The only glaring scar I carried was graduating without my father. My dad. The man who always rooted for me.

I cried so hard the morning of my convocation. I wept. Getting to school and seeing people with their fathers… I felt that sting. I was jealous. It hurt.

But I’m still deeply grateful. At least I had him. At least he saw me start the journey. And somehow, I know he’s proud I finished it.

I’m grateful for it all. Thank you God of the fatherless.

Let’s take it back to Thursday!

We Showed Up, We Showed Out! ✨
4herfrika Unilag has been growing quietly since the start of this year — but this month, we stepped out boldly to make our presence felt at the University of Lagos! 🚀✨

The Campus Launch was more than just an event — it was a statement: Just because we are here to build world-class women, from campus to career. 💜💼

A special thank you to our incredible 🎤host @teniola_eniola for anchoring the day with grace, energy, and passion — you brought everything to life! 💫

Thank you to ASISA President @__ola.wale for opening the day with his heartfelt prayers.

A special thank you to each incredible and phenomenal speaker who made this possible:
💫 @joynels_ — thank you for showing us the power of storytelling and the importance of owning our narrative.
💫 @e.i.b.r.a — thank you for reminding us that our ideas can take flight when we dare to launch them.
💫 @estaz — thank you for inspiring us to build, lead, and show up boldly in business and beyond even while being a student.
💫 @cindysho_ — thank you for championing women in tech and proving that we belong in every room.

To our generous sponsors @shopmoora.ng and @victoriamacs_ - thank you for believing in our vision and fueling our mission to empower the next generation of world-class women. Your support means everything!

Thank you to @yeesha_lips for the generous giveaways.

Thank you to our volunteers partners and everyone who showed up and showed love. This is just the beginning — the future is FEMALE! 💪

Grind after Grief🙂‍↔️
I’ve been off the grid for a while… not by choice, but by life’s tough turn.

I lost my biggest supporter and my silent strength. The past weeks have been heavy, I needed time. I needed space.
To break down.
To sit in the silence.
To remember.
To heal.

But now, in the middle of all that pain, God has been faithful. Slowly but surely,I’ve found light again.

This comeback isn’t just about picking up where I left off it’s about honoring him by becoming better, stronger, and more intentional. 💫

This next era? For him. For purpose. For legacy.

I’m back. And this time, I’m moving with purpose. ✨
Let’s build again — together.

We’re back. And we’re better. 🤍✨

Cheers to the delicious receipes to be made.🥂
