I do a lot of things people think are crazy, tough, or unnecessary. But I’m here to tell you: do everything that makes you uncomfortable. Lean the fuck into who you are, because that’s where you find the diamonds hiding inside you.

I am so thankful for my coaches and coworkers who have become friends, friends who have become family. Hearing all of them screaming my name made me stronger in that ring last night.

But most of all, I am thankful for myself. I put in the work, I trusted myself, and I reaped the rewards.

And that dance? That’s my happy dance. Win or lose, I was so damn happy to be in that ring, showing everyone and myself what all that hard work created.

After months of training (and countless rounds of encouragement from the Elevate Community), Eva Torres is stepping into the ring for Haymakers for Hope: Beltway Brawl 2026 on Wednesday, September 16! 🥊

And she has a special message for our community:

"Training for this fight has pushed me in ways I never imagined, and so much of that is because of this community. Whether we've suffered through a tough workout together, exchanged fist bumps after class, or you've simply cheered me on along the way, you've been a part of this journey.

I have explored a lot in the world of fitness… and now I am stepping into the ring. On April 15, I’ll be fighting with Haymakers for Hope, taking on boxing to help raise money in the fight against cancer. New discipline, new challenge, same drive. Hyrox NYC failure is a new opportunity. I love pushing a sled it always makes me feel strong and I kicked this sleds ass. Sadly the lunges got the best of me. My left knee decided that this was the day to hurt. I’ll be back tomorrow and kick something else’s ass. by @evsuto
