POSTS STORIES REELS

Why am I a voice artist? Many years ago I trained myself to be a ventriloquist and puppeteer, and performed a one-woman show with my Lucky Stars Puppets Theatre, in DC, Virginia, and Maryland. I did all of the character voices. Years later, I donated my theater to a nonprofit puppet ministry and took my voice on another journey. I trained under experts to become a voice artist. Moral of the story: When you have a lot of voices in your head, listen to them! #voiceactor #voiceartist #voiceoverartist #animation by @evtraxvo

Do you have a dog? If so, have you considered buying a Muddy Mat? Check this out: I was hired to produce a video for the #Muddy Mat, with my pup Aubie, and was given a multi-colored mat to create the video. It was the first time that I used one of these mats. I love it! Not only does the Muddy Mat keep dirt away, it's also beautiful and uplifting house decor. Our house looks better. A big shout out to The Voice Acting Career Kickstart (VACK) founders and instructors @elizabethhales, @iambradyhales, and also the VACK community! Within a couple of months after joining and learning from VACK, I booked several voice acting jobs that previously were out of reach. Plus, VACK connected me to an incredibly talented web expert, Lindsay Simpson, who did a masterful job upgrading my website. Thank you to Liz, Brady, @the.tea.lemon, and the amazing VACK community who inspired and uplifted me from day 1! And thanks to @eightfive.studios in Bethesda for fabulous, new headshots! by @evtraxvo

I’m a proud @boy.throb mom, plus a whole lot more - a voice artist, content creator, and director of community relations. Check out my commercial voice demo! Special thanks to my son, performer @evan_papier for his cameo! #voiceactor #voiceovers (Video is a demo only and may not show the actual products mentioned). by @evtraxvo

Amazing work of #art! My son Max handmade this #falloutnewvegas #ncrranger costume when he was around 14 years old, using a variety of materials that he cut, glued, painted, and bleached, and a 3D printer. Proudly displayed on a mannequin in our basement, this incredible veteran guards the entrance to my voice studio. Seriously inspired by Max, I’m in eager pursuit of a character role for the next #fallout game. @obsidian hear my call! by @evtraxvo

Cheers to all #puppeteers who use their talents to make this world a more creative and happier place! And thanks to the greatest #puppet maker of all time @folkmanispuppets that gave my Lucky Stars Puppets #theatre a great run for over five years, in DC, Virginia, and Maryland. And cheers to the #muppets and @sesamestreet for inspiring me, and the @ebony puppets ministry that gave my puppets a new home when I closed my theatre! Ebony Sonshine Puppets, keep up the great work of bringing joy and hope to children! This is a universal art form that encourages imagination and self-expression and deserves recognition.
