I am so excited and blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career running D2 cross country and track at Coker University!

First, I want to thank God for giving me this opportunity and guiding me throughout this journey. Running has come with its fair share of setbacks, but I’m grateful for the lessons I’ve learned and the opportunity to keep pushing myself and doing what I love.

Next, I want to thank my parents for always pushing me to do things I never thought I could do. Thank you for believing in me, sitting through every meet, and supporting me through every high and low. You have helped shape me into the person I am today, and I wouldn’t be where I am without you. I’m forever grateful for everything you’ve done for me.

I also want to thank Coach Williamson and Coach AB. I wouldn’t be the athlete I am today without y’all’s support. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me to be better, and reminding me of what I’m capable of even when things get hard. Your encouragement and guidance have made such a big impact on me, not only as an athlete but as a person, and I’m so grateful to have had coaches who genuinely care about my growth and success. A special thank you to Coach Galloway and Coach Baker for giving me this opportunity. I’m so grateful for your support and excited for what’s ahead!

I can’t wait to see what the next four years hold. Go Cobras!! by @evynnethurman
