Another fantastic night at @rts.scotland awards!

Massive thank you to @clairey1111, Adrian Burns and the whole @synchronicityfilms team for the invite - what a brilliant outcome for their first ever feature doc commission.

Over the moon to see THE TATTOOIST’S SON: JOURNEY TO AUSCHWITZ win the Single Doc category and of course the supremo that is @hellobennett getting the nod for Best Director for the film too. What a brilliant team and film this was, thank you all for trusting me with the edit ❤️. Special thanks to the whole team at @blazinggriffinpost for their fantastic post-production support.

The @dragonflyfilmtv SURGEONS: AT THE EDGE OF LIFE team were out in full force too and won across both categories, Motion Design & Animation by the @seriousfacilities FX crew and the biggie Specialist Factual. Such an incredible series that I’m very proud to have been a part of. Sorry that I missed the squad photo!

It was also so lovely to see LOCKERBIE: OUR STORY nominated across both Director and Motion Design & Animation. It’s a film that holds a very dear place in my heart.

It’s always a brilliant catch up with loads of pals and even better when you see them up on stage getting well deserved plaudits. Congrats to all the nominees and winners.

Right…let’s see if I can do two late-nighters in a row for the Scotland game 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 by @ewandenny

✂️ TONIGHT - 9PM - BBC TWO/IPLAYER ✂️

It was a pleasure to cut another episode of Surgeons: At the Edge of Life, this time alongside the brilliant edit producer, @shrootstoots

One patient needs to choose between his voicebox or his life and another can hopefully rid herself of decades long pain.

These series are such complex and difficult edits to wrangle, but they are such a joy to work on with the absolute dream team at @dragonflyfilmtv. @fionajtwilson, Ross Harper and Steven Todd’s support throughout is always top notch.

What a delight to see the @rts.scotland Award Nominees 2026.
Over the moon to see so many hard working and talented friends and colleagues being honoured with a nomination.

@tworiversmedialtd Lockerbie: Our Story and @synchronicityfilms The Tattooist’s Son: Journey to Auschwitz are very dear to my heart. Both directed by the supremo @hellobennett where he and the teams poured themselves into each films, respectively.

And to see the powerhouse that is @dragonflyfilmtv Surgeons: At The Edge of Life in the mix too in several categories is fantastic. Especially seeing the bold Jude Suggett up for the Editing category! 💪 ✂️

I’m so proud to have edited on all 3 with such brilliant production teams. Massive congrats to all the nominees!

✂️ CHARMAIN & THE PROPHET - MONDAY 13TH APRIL - BBC TWO - 10PM ✂️

Delighted to have edited the first ever BBC Disclosure series!
CHARMAIN & THE PROPHET is a 3 part series, where Myles Bonnar and the Disclosure team investigate the mysterious death of Charmain Speirs. A woman originally from Arbroath, who after finding religion and a whirlwind romance with a Pentecostal Prophet, is found dead in a hotel in Ghana.

The incredible team behind this investigation followed the story from Arbroath in Scotland, to Swansea in Wales, London in England, Accra in Ghana and ultimately Maryland in the USA.

Tune in tomorrow and weekly thereafter, or binge watch the boxset on BBC IPLAYER.

Chasing A Killer: Gary Allen, is a 2-Part @primevideouk exclusive from @firecrestfilms. I was delighted to be a part of the fantastic team behind this, cutting Episode 2.

A story spanning 20 years, detailing the shocking murders of Samantha Class and Alena Grlakova. Telling the tenacity of the police force, campaigning sex workers and capitalising on a monumental change in the justice system in attempts to keep a serial woman hater off the streets of England.

✂️ TUESDAY 3RD JUNE - 9PM - BBC TWO + BBC SCOTLAND

I’m so proud to have cut @hellobennett’s beautiful film for @tworiversmedialtd featuring a fantastic score by @francismacdonald

It puts names, faces and life-stories to the seat numbers of 6 passengers onboard Pan Am 103 - from the point of view of the victims’ nearest and dearest. Most of whom haven’t spoken on camera before.

In the edit, we often described this as a love letter to lost loved ones, but also a love letter to the people and town of Lockerbie too.

I hope we have done their stories justice by showing the legacies that we all leave behind.

It was a small but mighty team, stacked from top to bottom of incredible talent, who all put their heart and soul into making this film. Please tune in or watch on BBC iPlayer.
