MINDSET MATTERS Your goals, your dreams, your success lie at the end of being able to persevere and do the things that are going to test you physically, mentally, emotionally Life isn’t always about doing the things you want to do, life is about doing the things you DON’T WANT TO DO You’re going to fail in life more times than you succeed and that’s just FACT You have 2 choices……. Quit, walk away and move on and let failure win ….. OR……. You dust yourself off, pick yourself back up and go again Failure will make you or break you If you’re truly invested in something, if you have a true passion for progress, no matter how many times you fail…… you assess, you analyse, you learn the lesson in that failure and you GO AGAIN CHANNEL YOUR MINDSET Everyone was once a beginner, everyone at some stage was where you have been, everyone has been and will continue to be a student, everyone has failed and will continue to do so If you want success in any avenue in life Get comfortable being uncomfortable, get use to failure, get use to spending a lot of time doing things you don’t want to do Lean into discomfort, take the lesson from every failure and look to improve, take the positives out of doing those things you want to do These are the things that are going to help you succeed And take you one step closer every time to achieving, this is where success lies….. thriving in an environment that is challenging you. Life is one big journey Focus on the positives not the negatives Strive for progress MINDSET MATTERS Also a little #flashbackfriday (is this even still a thing πŸ˜‚) to @ifbbprojamiedorego landing me at my absolute best Only the beginning 🀝 βž– βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž– Interested in working with me? October πŸπŸŽƒπŸ‘»πŸ‚ It has been a memorable one 🫢 This month is always one of my favourite months of the year And this year was no different Being able to do something once again that is my absolute love and passion when I never thought I would, spending quality time being present with those in my close circle, show day weekends as a competitor again but most importantly a coach and being there with clients celebrating their wins and successes, forming new relationships with people and rekindling past relationships, to just enjoying life’s simplicity’s, my love of my day to day routine, my daily meals, bodybuilding and my unhealthy obsession/addiction for cold brews/caffeine, stranger things and Harry Potter 🀣 The only negative….. The weather last weekend πŸ™„ Austen and Boelo prevented me going pumpkin picking this year which is tradition and not being able to do that this year and having a terribly carved pumpkin to display was the only downside Memories made, blessings counted, appreciative of those who made this such a special month 🫢 βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž– Interested in working with me? A gnarly peeled package brought by @_jw_training Even more impressive that this was the condition of someone who was getting ready to step on stage as a first timer Glutes fully dug and fat free We were Having a chat the other day about this prep and two things… firstly something as competitors we are all guilty of is in the moment we don’t appreciate how we look it’s only when looking back do we begin to appreciate the levels we go to and what we achieve Secondly we were discussing the lead up to these visuals and in the days prior we were flat, but where we needed to be at 10 days out from the show, the job of fat loss complete, and the visuals and biofeedback were displaying that so the call was made to back off and begin to freshen up, and as fatigue dropped the physique came to life This is when working with someone for a period of time, you understand their mindset, their mentality, their physique and their biofeedback and analysing the physiques requirements and knowing when to push and when to pull back To get in legit condition you’ll spend a period of time running flat, and there will be an element of fatigue and feeling the suffering, ask anyone who has been there, it will be required To make sure you have a successful peak week the goal is to ensure fat loss is complete by then and the process becomes very easy and predictable A great prep and a great look brought βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž– Interested in working with me? AM visuals at 3 weeks post show 3 weeks into rebuilding season and the pursuit of regaining lost volume Week by week momentum is gathering and metrics are trending in the right direction which is what we want to see post show/post diet phase, prep fatigue dropping off, training performance and biofeedback feedback improving, in turn creating the perfect runway for progress Rationale application always has to be at the forefront in the decision making process and emotion put to one side The athlete in me wants to go full throttle straight out the gate, but doing so wouldn’t be the correct call based on circumstances and would only potentially hinder long term progression This is where post show and the direction you go has to be taken on individual basis and should be guided by the circumstances infront of you The patient approach is what is being deployed for myself, long term vision, delayed gratification, inch by inch and playing the long game in order to create a long and successful run way for progress ensuring health is at the forefront of this push This is where Relentless consistency is required and this is where I thrive, regardless of the phase, year round the routine, the habits, the structure, no matter the phase this is where I will execute The current set up is allowing me to train, recover and progress, the split will adjust a touch, in the coming months when recovery improves and the body can handle it with a touch more volume to be distributed to upper body work Current set up Cardio = 5x25 Steps= 12k minimum Training split Mon- chest + delt Tues- back + hams Weds- off Thurs- quads+glute Fri- delt+chest Sat- back touch up+ arms Sun- off Checking in amidst a storm wasn’t on the agenda this weekend, but stayed loyal to the natural light set up and the phone survived…. That’s the real win sports fans πŸ™Œ βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž– Interested in working with me? In person with @lisafit_ifbbpro yesterday Flat but exactly where we need to be Believe me pictures do her no justice and this is where doing in person check ins is invaluable The level of detail in her physique is seriously impressive and will be even more so when we bring it to life come show day The best Lisa we have seen at this stage and will be approximately 6lb up come show day and already achieved a level of condition that hasn’t been achieved before 2.5 weeks until we land πŸ›¬πŸ‡·πŸ‡΄ βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž– Interested in working with me?
