My name is Erika but you can call me E🐐and I am happy to introduce myself as the face behind EWAYOFHAIR! A little background about myself, I hold two Honours Degrees from McMaster University along with an Advanced Diploma from Mohawk College. My first passion in life lies within the healthcare industry. I call myself The 🅿️onytail Doctor because my specialty as a hairstylist pertains to all things Ponytails and I aspire to one day become a Physician—just as a Doctor treats patients, my desire is to treat my clients to an elegant version of themselves through hair.

Although I am new to the hair industry, I am no rookie when it comes to Ponytails—as I have offered this service to friends and family members for quite some time. I have always had a knack for Ponytails specifically, but was timid to step out on faith and share my talent with the world. However, the Lord told me that my days of playing small are over! The Lord has blessed my hands and I plan to use them in all the ways that I am able. Amen🙏🏾 Don’t be afraid to take up space, boldly and proud! The market is not over-saturated and there is room for us all🙌🏾

While Ponytails are my specialty, I also offer Flip-Over and Traditional Sew Ins. EWAYOFHAIR is a glue-free zone🙅🏾‍♀️ meaning that I do not offer any quick weave services, and all of my Ponytails are sewn and not glued!

I am dedicated to bringing you quality service, coupled with exceptional customer service. I am a perfectionist and my goal is to ensure that anyone who sits in my chair not only leaves satisfied, but elated and confident in the reality that they look and feel their best!
