Sometimes I feel like I glitched and woke up to every little thing about my life being completely different than it had been. My psyche can’t always catch up to my new reality, because nothing is the same as it was two years ago…and yet here I am.

In (this) reality, that shift was long and painful and felt never-ending. I didn’t just wake up here, I crawled and stumbled and fell down constantly. I’m just so grateful to be on this side of it, and for everyone who has helped to add depth, color, and beautiful new dimensions to this life that was always meant for me ✨❤️ by @ewilderrr

Took a lil trip to SF under the full moon. I’ve fully fallen in love with that city and the community I have there— I just counted, seven visits in the last year!)

I needed to burn some shit, release it, put my feet in the Pacific and let it wash over me— and (fuck yeah) I got to do all those things alongside the most beautiful, loving humans.

It’s been a wild year, but damn—the beauty in my life is bigger and bolder than anything else.

This wasn’t the first burn & release and it won’t be the last, but it felt like a shift.

If you want to take your grief, share it, hold it, throw it in the fire, turn it into smoke, hug/cry/dance next to the flames just lmk—I’m your gal xx by @ewilderrr

To know me is to know & love my cats—my comfort, my protectors, my heart. They carried me through this past year. Having them permanently inked on my bod felt like the least I could do xx

I started making these candles for friends & family when they lost their beloved furry companions.

Our society at large lacks fundamental language and rituals around grief, and pet grief is often given even less importance. If you’ve lost a pet, you know how deep that grief can go, and not having a place, practice, or opportunity to express it can feel so isolating.

Since I started making these, I’ve noticed that they seem to fill that grief gap ever so slightly. Put them on an alter, light the candle when you miss them, give one to a friend when they lose a pet & words feel empty // a sweet little way to honor and remember these special souls that fill our lives with so much love ❤️. (edit: also a fun way to celebrate living pets :)) by @ewilderrr
