Tonight⚓️ Bait ⚓️on @rinsefrance with @ex.sses 100% production mix
ex.sses has a track ‘Sanguine’ featured on Bait in the Out of Step VEP from 2024. Her production style is indisputably deconstructed, experimental, physical, and in a certain way, “punk”, challenging the body via the ears.
First got in touch with ex.sses in 2021 to feature on a compilation of @bvnoclub, Strasbourg, and then bumped into her in the smokers in Hackney Wick couple years later and got chatting without knowing we’d worked together online! We just had her play at our recent party with @tra.verse in Paris, recap post soon 🙏 by @ex.sses

EX.SSES és una productora i DJ experimental que combina baixos contundents, ritmes trencats i textures sonores en una música física, deconstruïda i en constant transformació. El seu treball explora la fragmentació i els límits de la música post-club.
Ha actuat en espais i festivals del Regne Unit i Europa, com La Station Gare du Mines a París, murmur a Amsterdam, Beursschouwburg a Brussel·les i Ormside a Londres, i ha publicat música a segells com Ethos Records, Bait, Traverse, TT Label i glint.
A BONE x IKLECTIK presentarà un set híbrid de live i DJ que combinarà les seves pròpies produccions amb música de club experimental i deconstruïda.

EX.SSES is an experimental producer and DJ who combines heavy bass, broken drums and textural sounds into a physical, deconstructed and constantly evolving sound. Her work explores fragmentation and the boundaries of post-club music.
She has performed across the UK and Europe at venues including La Station Gare du Mines in Paris, murmur in Amsterdam, Beursschouwburg in Brussels and Ormside in London, and has released music on labels including Ethos Records, Bait, Traverse, TT Label and glint.
At BONE x IKLECTIK, she will present a hybrid live/DJ set combining her own productions with deconstructed and experimental club music.

for this edition, i invited @ex.sses for the first hour of the show ♡
“this mix felt like a searching through some undulating feelings of love and loss. it’s the pulsing of those emotions through grief, shock and the joy of feeling like you’re losing someone and then them coming back.”

i took over for the second hour, moving through dub-led techno, bass, expe and percussive sounds…

ex.sses is an experimental producer and DJ, who fuses heavy bass, broken drums and textural sounds. Their production style is undeniably deconstructed, experimental, physical and challenges the body through sonic exploration. Her sets blur structure and create fragmentation through post-club transgressive music.

Over the past year she has performed across the UK and Europe, playing shows at La Station Gare du Mines (Paris), murmur (Amsterdam), Beursschouwburg (Brussles) and Ormside (London), bringing her bass led palette of sounds, unconfined by genre.

This past year they have released singles with Ethos Records (under you) and contributed to The Wire’s 50th anniversary compilation with ‘follow me’. She is currently writing two EP’s set to be released next year.

Her live electronic performances for IKLEKTIK, Gnojki Samba, glint and Hidden Door Festival expand on ex.sses’ exploration of textural sounds, poetry, physicality, and the gendered body. She has previously released tracks on Bait, Traverse, TT Label and glint and others.

Year 2 of working with a cutie team to bring a welfare space and some party-supportive workshops to 3WD.

Thanks to the amazing team for your support and ideation! @monik_a_er @ex.sses @imaninaghten @niks.flint @more_swole @meki_don @lilli_lc @thethreewheeldrive

For us, welfare in party spaces is about harm reduction (on and off the dancefloor). Partying is fun, and welfare can be too. Move your body, move together ⋆˙⟡

Lilli and I put this sweet zine together with a selection of texts, colouring sheets and images. We have a few floating around somewhere if anyone would like to browse through.

Thanks again to the 3WD team and everyone who supported each other and came by the welfare tent for whatever reason -`♡´-

Care happens every day, and it’s so important to our collective survival and celebrations of being! Care is really everywhere, and we take care of each other!

Impulse Control returns to @radial.london and joins forces with Amsterdam label Strange Therapy, operating between modern industrial, digital punk, power electronics and an expanded array of struggling electronics.

Born out of mutual appreciation for thoughtful, adventurous curation, the showcase is co-headlined by Iron Sight and Donna Haringwey, following the release of Iron Sight’s ‚Catatonic Daydreamer’ and Donna Haringwey’s freshly released ‚god’. Both artists channel emotional intensity through highly personal and distinctly individual approaches to sound and performance.

The night will also serve as an album release show for Remote Viewing, whose new LP ‚State Violence’ lands the day before the event.

IRON SIGHT (LIVE)

Danish producer and vocalist Isak Hansen traverses dystopian futures and biblical eschatology through caustic percussion, smothering drones, and corroded synths. He has releases on Strange Therapy, Instruments of Discipline & Total Black, and is also a vocalist in The Empire Line.

DONNA HARINGWEY (LIVE)

Donna Haringwey makes destructive bangers meant to morph your depression into anger and hope. Critically acclaimed as „sick tracks bro”, „different” and „kinda like EBM but more punk”, his music has no genre boundaries and is constantly evolving.

ex.sses fuses heavy bass, broken drums and textural sounds into physical, deconstructed post-club music.

REMOTE VIEWING (LIVE)

Remote Viewing make discordant, experimental sludge and noise rock, incorporating elements of hardcore, post-rock, and shoegaze.

CHARLOTTE DUGGAN (LIVE)

Charlotte Duggan presents body noise, a new live set exploring themes of sexuality, sonically moving between ambient and power electronics.

WILMA (DJ)

London-based Wilma moves through new beat, EBM, electro, and techno, with appearances at Sunday School, Muscle Up and Spit.

MELAS ZOMOS (DJ)

Brighton-based Melas Zomos moves through noise, darkwave, industrial, post-punk and goth.
