I’m honestly still so thankful for everything God allowed me to experience on this trip. I’m so thankful God gave me the opportunity to return to the country of my roots and serve the people there. Not only being able to provide medical, but to also share the gospel was such a blessing. I’m so thankful for the people I met and the memories I made. I know I’ll miss so many of the people I got to know during this trip.
More than anything, I’m thankful for what God taught me. I learned more about what it really means to love people the way Christ did, to serve without expecting anything in return, to listen to their stories, and to see people for who they are rather than just the reason they came to the clinic.
Getting to use my Spanish, the medical skills I’ve been learning, and my faith while serving in the country my family comes from was something I’ll always be grateful for. I truly believe God had a purpose in allowing me to be there and I pray I continue to live out what He taught me during this trip.
And thank you to everyone who helped made this trip possible.🤍 taken in El Salvador by @examiry
