🌿🪨The Lone Stone🪨🌿

Has felt really nice to reconnect with nature latley. Makes me feel more alive in a good way. I’m just see so much color and beauty and love searching for nice compositions. I tend to struggle with landscapes but love a challenge, so here we are lol. I definitely loves seeing it all come together.

🗞️ Kit 🗞️

Made this painting a little while ago and never posted. I modeled it after my Kit Kitteradge doll. Since taking her out of storage she has been a great comfort to me in this weird transitional part of life. The close up composition really spoke to me and it was quite fun to get lost in all of those details.

I was inspired looking at the dandelions this morning. I'm so glad this idea came to me because I absolutely adore it. This will probably be my final big piece of art before I officially graduate from school! Insanely terrified and excited. More to come on that later.

Here’s a made up portrait I made based of a beautiful rainbow silver ring I found at an antique store (see last slide)
I found all the swirls and different sized and colored jems so interesting that I knew I wanted to use it as inspiration in some way.
I think she turned out ethereal.

🐒 The Creation of Punch 🐒

I'm sure many of you have heard about Punch. The little monkey who carries his stuffie everywhere with him after his mother abandoned him. The poor little guy has had such trouble being accepted by the other monkeys in the zoo but I hear things are starting to look up! I keep seeing pictures of Punch and his buddy and the two just melt my heart. I knew I had to draw them and thought this parody would be funny. I hope Punch knows how loved he is.

🐓Hurricane Mode 🐓

Fun fanart piece I made from The Muppet Show reboot pilot last night. I think Sabrina did a great job, her heart was definitely in it.
I think I’ve seen like every episode of the muppet show probably. Back in the day when I was a kid and before Disney + / all the streaming services that took over everything, all the episodes used to be free on YouTube. And I must have watched them all 👵🏻
I just love love love the muppets and it’s so good to see them again!

🪲🌵Bug-Eyed Bobby and the Pollen Heist 🌵🪲

This was my final project for my digital painting class. We were assigned a three-piece Chase scene and given a list with genres and character types. I chose western, insects, and reptiles. I even wrote about these guys for my creative writing class! It’s been fun getting to know them and I’m incredibly proud of the series. I will likely be posting each painting individually as well.

❄️🌳 Entrapment of the Enchanted 🌳❄️

This 2 part series was made as an assignment for one of my classes. The prompt was to create 2 paintings of the same subject in the same place from the same angle. The only thing that changes is that there's a passage of time in between them.
Ive been on a medieval kick lately so this is my take on the trope of a unicorn getting it’s horn stuck in a tree. I was very much inspired by old unicorn tapestries.
I feel bad for putting the poor unicorn through all this but I think I ended up with a pretty cool mini series!

🔥 Phan The Flames 🔥

I for sure should be working on other things right now, but with the announcement of @danielhowell and @amazingphil ‘s relationship, I couldn’t help myself from making a piece to commemorate the occasion. I made this piece based off of the cinematic intro of the announcement video. I’ve been watching their videos for many years and their channel has become a safe space for me for quite some time. I’m so proud of them for opening up when it was hard and continuing to love each other and achieve their goals through all the adversity. I wish them nothing but the best and cannot wait to see what this new era has in store.

🏰 Medieval Mouse Hunt 🏰

My first major art assignment of the school year! This was a photo bash composition made from different Scetchfab compositions. I found a 3-D model of a jester mouse and fell in love with him. Thus this concept was born. I think it’s adorable and I’m very pleased with the rendering. I have a lot of academic classes this school year, but it feels nice to be able to draw every once in a while lol
