Off the plane from Melbourne at 5:30pm, at Adelaide Oval by 7:20pm for the final home game of the season.

Down 6 goals at half time, not going well so far. 🤦‍♀️👀 taken in Adelaide Oval by @excellencetakescourage

Today has been a momentous day. Our youngest has turned 18. We can remember the day he was born like it was only yesterday, yet here, in the blink of an eye, he’s 18.

Joshua is the glue that binds our family together. He is the one related to us all. He is truly a Peterson and a Clark.

He is clever and funny and personable and adventurous and cray cray (sometimes). He knows exactly what he wants in life, and has for years and we know he will go far.

We are so proud of the man he has become. He’s been moved half way around the World, twice, yet took it all in his stride. Flew by himself during COVID to go to boarding school in England and then came back again 3.5 years later to finish Year 12 with his Ivanhoe cohort.

He missed 18 mths of school ing with the moving back and forth, but he graduated early and has already finished one Semester of University.

His next big move is to shift back to Melbourne in the next few weeks. Another monumental change for all of us!

Yet he isn’t afraid to step out and do what he knows is best.

When it took 17 months for him to come along, I used to say ‘If God wants us to have a baby, he will give us one’ and then he sent you to us!

We love you, our Joshy. We can’t imagine our lives without you. You have kept us young (even in our advancing age) and for that we are eternally grateful.

May God bless you my beautiful boy, all the days of your life. taken in Adelaide, South Australia by @excellencetakescourage

Flying home after an amazing 4 days as a family, celebrating Dan and Steph’s wedding.

Only downer was taking Josh to the Children’s at 4:30am, as he had a high fever and was vomiting so couldn’t keep any meds down, but thankfully, after only a 3 hr stay they sent us home and after a big sleep he’s feeling much better and should be ok by tomorrow.

Bye RAdelaide - see you in 2 weeks. 🤣🤣 taken in Virgin Adelaide Airport by @excellencetakescourage

The arbo flower decorations from Daniel and Stephanie’s wedding were left on Saturday morning and we decided that it would be nice to take them to my grandparents grave at Cheltenham Cemetery. My Nanna loved her garden and growing flowers and I got my love of garden from her and my Oma and Opa.

It made me really happy to include her in a small way. 😍😍 taken in Cheltenham Cemetery by @excellencetakescourage
