A last minute session with some talented boys & girls from Cronulla, and it didn’t disappoint. The effort, energy and willingness to learn made it an absolute pleasure to coach.

Executive Demolition is now onto its 6th 40 ft container this year, filling them with quality second-hand office furniture and sending them locally, nationally and even overseas to one of our many valued partners and organisations.

At Executive Demolition, we are heavily invested in reducing landfill waste from our projects and are passionate about giving materials a second life wherever possible. We work hard to rehome, repurpose, and donate salvaged furniture and items rather than see them go to waste.

We’re also excited to be working on our new app, which will allow charities, community organisations, and the public to browse and collect items we salvage from our projects — helping even more materials find a new home and supporting a more sustainable future.

Erskine Project | Sydney CBD

Executive Demolition continuing structural and internal demolition works at the Erskine Street project in the heart of Sydney CBD.

From rooftop demolition, structural penetrations and internal strip-out works through to waste logistics and tight-access machinery operations, the team continues to deliver safely and efficiently within a complex live-city environment.

We’ve officially kicked off the Erskine Project at 39 York Street — a major structural demolition, hazmat removal and refurbishment spanning 17 levels and approximately 6,000 m².

This complex scope includes both soft strip-out and heavy structural demolition, with works involving the removal of floors coverings, walls, ceilings, stair structures, facade, amenities and redundant services throughout the building.

The project also features a number of high-risk structural elements, including slab and wall removals, floor propping requirements, and carefully coordinated staging and access logistics.

A challenging job, a significant transformation, and a great one to be part of.

As our family Christmas and New Year holiday comes to an end, I’ve been sitting here reflecting on 2025.

Personally, it was a challenging year. Still juggling running a business while trying to be a husband and a dad to our three kids.

It’s never a 7am–5pm kind of day. It’s 5–6am starts, 11pm (sometimes later) finishes, and a head that never switches off. Constantly thinking about work — how to be better, what I forgot, what we missed on a project, what I should’ve done differently etc etc.

While it might look glamorous from the outside, the reality behind the scenes is very different. The stress is high, the pressure is real, and running a business is tough in ways most people never see.

Heading into 2026, I don’t have it all figured out. I don’t see things magically changing either.

Just showing up. Doing the work and keep going!

I want everyone to win!

It’s been a minute!

Executive Demolition has been flat out lately, which is why we’ve been a bit quiet on socials.
We’re looking forward to finishing the year strong and pushing hard through the back end of 2025 with a few new jobs starting very soon.

Wow — what can we say!
We’re proud and extremely happy with the final result of our 7-floor make good project at Governor Phillip Tower in Sydney.

This one came with its challenges — including the demolition of an internal staircase, creating a new stair penetration, and a full internal strip-out across multiple levels — all completed within a tight timeframe.

Massive credit to our team and all involved for delivering a high-quality finish once again.

Project Update – GPT

As we near completion of our 7-floor makegood project at Governor Phillip Tower, one of the most challenging tasks was the demolition of an internal staircase, followed by the creation of a new penetration through the structure.

Working within a live commercial environment across multiple levels required precise planning, careful coordination, and a strong focus on safety. We’re proud of our team for executing this high-risk component efficiently and on schedule.
