Christine built CofoundHer on the belief that the potential of a company and the potential of its founder are equally worthy of investment.

At CofoundHer, we invest in and advise early-stage technology companies advancing the lives of women while developing the conscious founders behind them.

Our approach is different because we believe the inner work and the outer work belong together; seek inwardly to build outwardly.

Before founding CofoundHer, Christine helped build and scale a healthcare technology company while spending more than a decade studying consciousness, human behavior, and personal transformation. She now integrates those worlds by investing in early-stage startups, advising founders, and helping entrepreneurs build with greater awareness, discernment, and intention.

My capacity to receive could only expand as much as my sense of worthiness did.

Healing my worthiness wound meant releasing the need to prove my value through people pleasing and opening myself to the truth that I was worthy of receiving simply because I am. 🙏🏼💫💰

I invest in companies. But, even more so, I invest in the people building them.

The strongest founders are deeply connected to the problem they are solving. When things get tough, which they will, they are the ones who will persevere.

Their why is too important for them not to!

And that matters more than people think.

“Do I need investors to start my business?”

Not necessarily…

Raising capital is not the same thing as building a successful company.

The three questions you need to be asking yourself before you start fundraising:

What problem am I solving?
Who’s going to pay me for my solution?
And what should I prove before I raise institutional funding?

Sometimes the smartest funding strategy is proving you need less of it.

What could you prove before taking someone else’s money?

We’re taught to look outward when we don’t know what to do.

More information. More opinions. More advice. More validation.

And as founders, there is no shortage of people willing to tell us what they think we should do.

But the more voices we invite in, the harder it can become to hear our own.

Alignment, for me, begins by getting quiet enough to hear what’s happening within.

What does my head know? What does my heart know? What does my gut know?

And are they all on the same page?

That doesn’t mean ignoring the facts or the wisdom of people I trust. Feedback from trusted sources can be crucial. It just means I stop outsourcing the final decision.

Because there is a difference between seeking counsel and seeking permission.

The answers don’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes you have to get still enough to hear them.

And then trust yourself enough to follow them.

Last week, my EA and I had planned to film a video reintroducing me to social media.

It had already been a DAY, and before we even started, she looked at me and said, “Maybe we don’t force it today. Maybe we just go sit in the grass.”

So we did.

We sat in the grass.
We chatted.
And I tried my best to accept that maybe the video just wasn’t meant to happen that day.

But then the CEO/over-achiever in me said, “Nope, f**k it. We’re gonna get it done.” 😂

Except my gut had already made itself clear. I just ignored it.

So then the Universe decided to make it clear.

When we tried to record… the microphones stopped working. The lighting was wrong. We couldn’t find the right camera angle. My assistant’s phone hit the floor and almost shattered. I was having a hard time finding the right words…

NOTHING was flowing.

And still, we kept trying.

The irony isn’t lost on me.

I talk a lot about bringing the spiritual and the strategic together. About building outwardly while seeking inwardly. About listening to yourself while still having the discipline to execute.

And that day, I completely ignored half of the equation.

The CEO in me knows how to push through on an off day. And don’t get me wrong, that mindset has served me incredibly well throughout my career.

But the more conscious part of me already knew things felt off. The part of me in-tune with myself, with the Universe, knew I should let it go.

Neither instinct is wrong. But knowing where and when to apply each one is crucial.

There are moments when discipline means doing the thing anyway.

And there are moments when discipline means knowing when to stop forcing it.

The work is becoming aware enough to know which moment you’re in.

Clearly, I’m still practicing. 😂

So, the reintroduction to me will come when it’s ready.

555 days of conscious practice.

555 days of choosing myself.

555 days of going within and connecting with something far greater than my human self.

Many days, it’s really hard. Some days, I just don’t want to.

Spirituality isn’t sexy. It isn’t a fad or a performance.

Most of the time, spirituality is quiet. Repetitive. Ordinary. Mundane. Even boring at times.

The same rituals. The same practices. The same decision to show up, again and again.

While @insighttimer isn’t a complete reflection of my daily practice, it has been a faithful companion; helping remind me, one day at a time, to keep going.

The gift of showing up isn’t to strive for perfection. It’s to strive for a more conscious life.

Less fear. More love.

More trust. More presence.

To strive for a deeper awareness that I’m part of something far greater than myself, and a profound connection to every living thing.

The beautiful irony is this: the more I practice, the more I realize how little I truly know.
