We are a unicorn!🦄

Exein raised $270M at a $1.7B valuation to build the security layer for Physical AI.

The new funding allows us to expand globally our protection for intelligent machines that use AI to perceive, make decisions, and act in the physical world.

The round is led by Headline, with participation from Sofina, @goldmansachs, @europeaninvestmentbank, @kfw.de, and T.Capital, and continued backing from @baldertoncapital, HV, Intrepid Growth Partners, 33N, Lakestar, Supernova Invest, Blue Cloud Ventures, and Geodesic Capital.
This comes alongside an upsized revolving credit facility led by @jpmorgan, with KfW joining.

We want to thank our investors for their continued support and belief in our vision. We're also grateful to our partners and customers, whose trust and collaboration help us rise to the challenges of an always-evolving industry.

We’re heading to @embedded_world_official Exhibition&Conference 2026 in Nuremberg!

With the EU Cyber Resilience Act setting new benchmarks for embedded device security, this year’s event is a key opportunity to explore how our solutions address compliance requirements while reducing risk for customers and partners.

From March 10–12, we’ll be showcasing Exein Analyzer and Exein Runtime through live demo, with hands-on access across multiple stations. Attendees will be able to experience both pre-deployment security assessment and runtime threat detection and response in practical scenarios.

The Exein team—together with our ecosystem partners—will be on site to share insights and discuss how organizations can navigate this new regulatory landscape and build more resilient connected devices.

We’ve raised an additional €100M in funding to accelerate our global expansion and answer the increasing demand for protection against cyber attacks.

This brings our total collection for 2025 up to €170M.

The new investment will support our M&A strategy as we continue scaling across new markets and launch our next-generation breakthrough technology in 2026.

The round was led by Blue Cloud Ventures, joined by HV Capital, Intrepid Growth Partners, Geodesic Capital and investment bank J.P. Morgan.

On November 11th, our CEO Gianni Cuozzo joined a panel at Web Summit to talk about the European cybersecurity landscape.

When asked by Massimo Marioni how the EU security sector will look in five years, he said he envisions a mature European cybersecurity industry — an ecosystem that is autonomous, globally competitive, and able to export its own solutions.

We would like to thank Carlos Alberto Silva, Managing Partner at 33N Ventures, and Luísa Proença, Deputy National Director of the Portuguese Polícia Judiciária, for their valuable insights during the panel, the Web Summit organization, and everyone who stopped by after the event.

We’re pleased to participate as a technical partner in Crossed Swords 2025, a cyber defence exercise conducted by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence CCDCOE.
The event aims to enhance cyber skills at operational and tactical levels through realistic simulations of crisis and conflict environments. At Exein, we will bring our security expertise in protecting critical infrastructure in cyberwar scenarios.
More specifically, our team will contribute as threat hunters, integrating our advanced technologies, deploying AI-based monitoring tools, and sharing real-world insights from IoT security operations to significantly enhance the realism and effectiveness of the exercise.
The simulation is preceded by several months of planning and will feature more than 200 participants from over 40 countries, including both NATO and non-NATO member states.
Participants will include military cyber operators, digital forensic analysts, threat hunters, and other specialists from national cyber forces. by @exein.io
