From early morning runs, to doing math I don’t understand in Phillips.
From working an evening at Draganetti’s, to closing down the Pickle with my best friends.

Eau Claire truly gave me some of the best moments I will ever know. I am forever grateful for this beautiful city, and everyone I have had the honor of meeting here.

Onto the next chapter 💔 taken in Eau Claire, Wisconsin by @exgxcx

I spent many of my teenage and early adult years vaping/ smoking, and I really never thought about quitting. It had a grip on me that I couldn’t shake, for years I disrespected my own body with nicotine. I remember starting running again in 2022, and I was barely able to run two blocks without stopping and being out of breath. But I kept running. Day in and day out I was hitting the pavement just trying to slowly get better. About three years ago I quit vaping and smoking, and on December 26th, 2025 I quit nicotine entirely. It was the best decision of my life. The ups and downs were entirely worth it, and I would never go back. This morning I officially completed my first marathon, in the beautiful city of Eau Claire, and I blew myself away. I really never thought I’d be here, and I am grateful for the life I took back and the man I have become. #fucksmoking #fuckvaping

Thank you to @owen.strong for being my inspiration and getting me back into running. Without running I don’t know who I would’ve became. And thank you to @jimcooper37 for being my coach for the day and #1 fan, @bolannnuck and all of my other supporters for cheering me on. And thank you, kind reader, for spending time reading this. ❤️🫵 by @exgxcx
