POSTS STORIES REELS

There have been so many new faces around here lately, and I realized I’ve never really stopped to introduce myself. So… hi. I’m Melissa!

I’m a spiritual medium, Reiki Master, meditation facilitator, and life coach. I’m a wife, a mom, and for a really long time, I was a stay-at-home mom.

Well… a stay-at-home mom who also worked. 🥵

I started as the receptionist for our family printing business @innovativetwist and eventually moved into the T-shirt side. What started in our garage eventually grew into the whole company moving into a larger space. And through all of it, my kids were right.there.with.me.

I was answering phones, handling last-minute orders, changing diapers, making lunch, helping with homework, doing readings between shirt orders, and keeping one eye on the heat press so I didn’t miss the beep.😂

My little one had recess at the office. We had obstacle courses, lemonade stands, and naptime in the back room. It was chaotic, exhausting, hilarious, and honestly, some of the most beautiful years of my life.

For a long time, I thought I was taking care of myself, too. A shower where I could shave my legs AND wash my hair?😂 Or getting all the laundry washed, dried, folded and put away in one day so I might have a little extra time the next day to work on shirts. 😅

But looking back, I realized how little space I was actually leaving for myself.

I remember wishing I had somewhere I could go where I didn’t have to be anything for anyone else. A place where no one needed anything from me and I didn’t need to get anything done or take care of anyone.

Somewhere I could just BREATHE.

And that feeling is a huge part of why Exhale exists.

I wanted to create the kind of space I used to wish existed for me. A place where you can walk through the door, put everything down for a little while, take a breath, and remember that you’re a person too.

Just you.

And now that space exists inside of Exhale.

So if you’re new here, welcome. I’m really glad you found your way here. Come in, get comfortable, and let out that breath you’ve been holding.🤍

Virginia Beach girlies, there is something about leaving a meditation class feeling like the weight of the world just got a little lighter. 🥹🤍

Your mind is quieter, your body feels relaxed, and for a little while, you weren’t thinking about the 100 other things waiting for you.

Just an hour to slow down, breathe, and let yourself be taken care of.

Come experience it at Exhale. I’d love to have you here. 🤍

😂😂 Virginia Beach, y’all are going to hear about Exhale until further notice.

I spent too much time dreaming about this space, too much time bringing it to life, and way too much money ordering things for it to keep quiet now. 🤣

Whether you’re looking for guided meditation, Reiki, a private session, a community event, a workshop, or even a space to record your podcast, there might just be something here for you.

Exhale Meditation Studio is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and make a little room to breathe in the middle of everyday life.

And if you’ve been wondering what I’m always talking about, come to one of our offerings and see for yourself! 🥹🤍

I don’t think I’ll ever get over how beautiful this night was!!

Five women showed up to Moonlight & Magic at Exhale on their own, and watching everyone laugh, open up, and connect throughout the evening was everything I could have hoped for and more.

There’s something about getting out of your usual routine, putting your phone down, and spending time with other women that reminds you how much we need each other.

Life can be so busy. We’re constantly taking care of things, taking care of people, and trying to keep up with everything pulling at us. Sometimes we need a night where we can just be.

And under the Hunter’s Moon, that’s exactly what we got to do.

We laughed, we connected, we made memories, and we shared a little piece of our lives with one another. And I got to stand back and watch it all happen in a space that means so much to me.

I created Exhale because I wanted a place where people could come in, take a breath, and feel good being there. Moonlight & Magic reminded me why that matters so much.

To the women who spent this evening with me, thank you. You made this night what it was, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed.

Maybe the magic isn’t just in the moon. I believe it was in what happened when we all came together beneath it. 🤍

Did you know I offer 1:1 meditations where I take you to visit your loved one in Heaven and help you receive messages for yourself?

These sessions are gentle, peaceful, and deeply healing experiences. You’ll be guided through a meditation where you reconnect with their energy, feel their love, and receive the comfort, guidance, or closure your heart’s been needing.

Most people walk away feeling refreshed, lighter, and more at peace like they’ve reconnected not only with their loved one, but with themselves and God’s presence through it all.

If you’d like to book one, just message me. They’re completely tailored to you & there’s no set time limit. I just go by what feels right for your energy and the experience you need that day.

Every session is different, and every message is meant for you. 🤍🧿

Sometimes, you need to take a step back, catch your breath, and remind yourself that you don’t have to do everything all at once.

It’s easy to look around and feel like everyone else is moving faster, figuring things out, or getting somewhere you haven’t reached yet. We can get so caught up in where we think we should be that we forget to appreciate where we are.

But your journey was never meant to look like anyone else’s, babe.

You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to change direction. You’re allowed to take your time. And you’re allowed to give yourself a little breathing room without feeling like you’re falling behind.

Sometimes, a pause is exactly what you need to hear yourself again, reconnect with what matters, and remember that you don’t have to rush your way through life to make progress.

So please take a breath. Give yourself the same patience you so freely give to others. Honor the season you’re in, trust your own timing, and let yourself move at a pace that feels right for you.

You don’t have to rush your becoming. You just have to keep trusting your own journey.

Let this be your reminder to slow down, exhale, and come home to yourself.🤍 by @exhale.vb
