As the autumn approaches,so does the end of the mantid cycle.
After reaching sexual maturity, they only have an approximate 2 months to mate and create the next generation.
Not all the girls got to mate. She waited in the garden sending pheromones into the wind to call a mate.
He never came.
This could mean there was a shortage in males or population drop in general due to conditions this year.
It was a rough year for many.
She laid an infertile ootheca and has remained attached to it for 2 days hanging, no strength left, slowly dying.
She can no longer eat or drink. Barely moving.
I watched her hatch and hunt and grow
And now I watch her burn away
And Journey on back to the soil
Cosmic energy
I will see your return in the flowers of the garden
As we Exist in Mystery

Under the Lunar Rhythms

She lays othecca

Little pockets full of eggs, little seeds, little lives

She is on her 3rd, laid on this full moon

1 closer to her last

1,2,3 laid under the lunar rhythms of full moons and new moons

All the life and all the death

Dancing to the rhythms of the moon

Support life and integrity. Stop feeding the lies and oppression. Use your tools and gifts to spread Love and Life. I prefer dirty rocks and filthy scum over "clean" and orderly deceit. Rise up my dirty folks! Ha! by @existinmystery

Growth with Love, For Love

Little works of art. Taking on issues like pollution and littering, to plant seeds for the future. Each carrying a bit of mycelium magic for soil health. They will continue to grow Love, so long as they are nurtured and loved.

The way we treat little beings will return and magnify in the way we treat ourselves and each other in the human realm. We All exist interconnected. What you do to little beings shows a lot about how you treat people.

I embalm myself and fall into a deep slumber but this is not a peaceful sleep

I tear myself apart and melt myself into a goo

The pain is part of the process, I dance with it

Reassembling myself, rebuilding my body to become a new form

Still myself but built for a new cycle

A form of death but not final

I will fly

Rebirth
