Exodus 17:12 “But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.”

The Bible shares a story of a time when Moses called his community to battle. He had a tool necessary to win the battle, the rod of God, but he still found himself getting weary. Worse yet when he held up his hand, his community prevailed, but when he lowered his hand, they began to fail. He was so weary. His arms felt like bricks. He needed support.

Aaron and Hur were there to provide the support that Moses needed to win. Exodus 17_12 is a community of women. We exist to provide support to one another during times when life presents challenges too steep to navigate alone. We encourage our members to share their stories, find support, use our resources, and lift one another up. As a community, we share our resources, our expertise, our experiences, and our compassion to propel our individual and collective success.
