Vi que había un círculo de arco en Puerto Rico y tuve que check it out 🏹✨ especialmente porque quería traer esta experiencia a Domingos de Florecer.Me encanta todo lo que nos conecta con nuestras raíces, nuestros ancestros, la historia que vive detrás de nosotros… y más que todo, despertar ese guerrero interior 🔥He hecho arquería varias veces y siempre salgo con esa sensación de poder, enfoque y conexión… ¡y esta vez fue igual! Aunque llovió estuvo espectacular 🌧️🏹 más vibe de guerreras todavía! All in all, Guatemala was a sweet treat, per usual 🩵✨After this trip, I completely understand why @the.mystic.flow returns to Guatemala year after year. There is something so special about this place. The people, the culture, the landscapes, the energy, and the experiences it creates.These photos are from our opening ceremony, some of the first moments where our group came together before all the adventures, deep conversations, and memories that would follow 🥹One of the most meaningful experiences was participating in a Mayan fire ceremony that night. Before it began, we all came together to create a beautiful flower mandala, each person contributing their piece and creativity 🌸✨So much gratitude to @mari.in.the.flow, @the.mystic.flow, the other facilitators, our hosts, and every single person who shared this journey. Next up: Acatenango. 🌋If you’ve done this hike, you already know... this thing is BRUTAL 😂🥵For about 6 hours you’re climbing from roughly 8,000 ft to over 12,000 ft, and as someone who lives at sea level, I was absolutely feeling every step. The incline just keeps going, the air gets thinner, and at multiple points I questioned my life choices 😅BUT WOW.Now I can officially say I’ve watched a volcano erupt 🌋🔥Seeing Fuego erupt across from us from base camp was one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced. It’s hard to describe what it’s like to watch the Earth literally doing its thing right in front of your eyes.What made the experience even better was the crew I got to share it with. We laughed, danced, encouraged each other, and somehow made our way up that mountain together 🫶 and ofcourse, the latinas brought the party 💃🏻 By the time we reached base camp, every step felt worth it. The views, the volcano, the conversations, the shared accomplishment—it all made for an unforgettable experience.And perhaps equally memorable as the volcano eruptions: somehow ending up in a Florida Highway Patrol sweater courtesy of @wichoandcharlies while smoking a doobie on the side of a Guatemalan volcano 🌋 As a Florida girl, that felt iconic asf. 💁🏻‍♀️Would I recommend it? Absolutely.Would I tell you to prepare appropriately? Also absolutely 😂Good hiking shoes, layers, snacks, hiking sticks, water, and a healthy respect for the mountain are non-negotiable. This hike is not for the faint of heart, but if you’re up for the challenge, it’s one heck of an adventure. 🌋✨ by @expansive.experiences
