👇🏻PLANNING YOUR HIKING TRIP
TO SWITZERLAND 📱🥾🇨🇭👇🏻

PLANNING 📍🗺️

Swisstopo: it’s my favorite one because I enjoy drawing the hikes on my own 😍, this app lets you plan routes, track your progress, and view detailed topographic maps with trails and elevation profiles.

Switzerland Mobility: it offers detailed maps, route planning, GPS tracking, and offline access to over 60,000 kilometers of trails. It provides elevation profiles, nearby accommodations, and transport info, making it easy to plan and navigate hikes of any length or difficulty.

SAC Route Portal: definitely the best app not only for the members of the Swiss alpine club. You can select the discipline and discover detailed route descriptions.
For a full access of the routes I recommend the subscription (more infos just ask me) ☺️ @schweizeralpenclub

SAFETY ⛑️

Rega: in case you are seriously injured or ill you can count on emergency assistance by air 24/7 365 days a year. Check out their website for more @rega_offiziell

Zecke: I’m totally sure you didn’t know about it, but yes you can monitor the area where you are going to hike and check how many ticks are registered there 😉

WEATHER 🌧️🌤️❄️

MeteoSwiss: it’s the official Swiss weather app, just open it and rely on it, 99% of the time is right 👌🏻🤩
You can look for mountain places and cities as well

Autumn is all about warm colours, cozy sweaters and grey skies… meanwhile, my old friend the glacier is serving icy blue perfection. 🧊💙

Sorry, autumn, but that’s some serious competition. 😂😎

What wins your heart: autumn’s golden colours and moody atmosphere 🍂☁️ or summer’s sunshine and bright blue skies? ☀️🩵

Just a little reminder that the best views usually require a few thousand steps 🥾🏔️
And yes, I stopped for approximately 847 photos 😂📸

Would you rather explore a glacier or a tropical island? 💬👇🏻

My idea of a walk: slightly colder, slightly more dangerous, and somehow still worth it 😅❄️

Swipe to the next slide for a little video of me actually walking on the glacier (Matterhorn at the end) because apparently one photo wasn’t enough proof 😂🏔️

Would you join me? 💭👇🏻

Sometimes, the best way to experience the mountains is to slow down. 🏔️🥾

I discovered the Mountain Mind Trail between Gornergrat and Riffelberg — a 5 km hike through the alpine landscape, with nine Steinmännchen stops along the way. 🪨

At each stop, the audio guide invites you to pause, listen and discover more about the nature, sustainability and stories of this unique mountain world. 🎧

Less rushing.
More noticing.
More time to simply take it all in.

Would you take the time to slow down here? 👇🏻💬

They said “go somewhere cool for the weekend”… so I may have taken that a little too literally 😂❄️
Five stars for the view, zero stars for the room temperature 🥶

Would you join me on this icy weekend adventure or stay somewhere with heating? 🥵😅👇
