Abia is more than a destination—it’s a canvas of stories, culture, and creativity waiting to be explored.

Yesterday in Umuahia, artists transformed ordinary spaces into experiences through paintings, handcrafted pieces, fashion, music, and live performances. If you’re looking to experience the heartbeat of Abia, don’t just visit the landmarks—immerse yourself in its art, meet its creatives, and discover the stories they tell. This is the side of Abia every traveler should experience.

Abia said no more cash, no more chaos… just tap your card and go.

Cool air, comfortable seats, charging ports, proper safety, and a ride so smooth I slept off without even realizing.

This is not the bus experience we’re used to… and that’s the whole point.

Some places just surprise you in the best way.

Max and Hani Hotel in Isi Court is one of those spots. From the two level Sky Lounge to the spacious VIP bar, the quiet little sitting corner, and that event hall that honestly steals the show, the space is built for both relaxation and celebration.

The rooms are comfortable, security is well thought out with controlled access doors, the customer service is warm, and there’s even plenty of parking space which makes hosting events here a lot easier.

If you’re in Umuahia and looking for a place to relax, host an event, or simply enjoy a good environment, this is definitely worth checking out.

Have you been here before or would you visit? Tell me in the comments.

Abia State continues to take bold steps toward building safer and stronger communities with the launch of the NCHEDO Sexual Assault Referral Centre. This important initiative highlights the state’s commitment to protection, empowerment, and social development.

Through collaboration with the European Union funded Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Programme Phase II, the centre will provide survivors of sexual and gender based violence with access to healthcare, counselling, legal guidance, and holistic support in a safe and confidential environment.

This milestone reflects Abia’s focus on human dignity, inclusivity, justice, and sustainable development. Beyond business, culture, tourism, and innovation, Abia is also prioritising safety, wellness, and quality of life for residents and visitors.

@experience_abia celebrates growth, resilience, and progress as the state continues to position itself as a destination for opportunity, investment, and impact.

Umuahia Terminal is still under construction, but its purpose and structure are already clear. Designed to centralize interstate and intrastate transport, the project aims to reduce scattered motor parks, ease traffic flow, and improve the overall transport experience in Umuahia.

The layout shows deliberate planning, with provisions for access roads, loading areas, waiting spaces, and future expansion. When completed, the terminal is expected to support safer, more organized, and more efficient movement in and out of Abia State.

Projects like this highlight a growing focus on long-term infrastructure and urban planning within the state.
