The very talented @seanmcverry joined us this past summer for our most recent Songwriter Showcase! Sean has an incredible 1970’s inspired record “TELECOMS -1” out with his band project @telecomsnyc

We’re delighted to premiere a beautiful performance of “Simple Joy” by @noga.cabo as our first video in our new live series: Stone Studio Live. NOGA’s deeply personal and emotionally resonant works speak to the complexities of discovering oneself and traversing the human experience. She is based in Beacon NY, and her inspired new solo EP “Lady Sun” is out on all platforms now — go give it a listen!

With this new series, we’re bringing together talented musicians from near and far to showcase their music in a warm intimate setting with friends in our cozy studio @stonestudio in the Hudson Valley of Upstate New York. We thought we’d share a moment of joy during such a heavy time. #tbt our gathering in August, a beautiful day to celebrate the arts and connect in community. Documented & edited by @thebalasbrothers we invited friends old and new to enjoy a captivating dance performance by our brook and an in studio songwriter showcase. We’re so grateful to the community we’re building and want to continue to foster a safe place where ALL are welcome. A place to re•create in nature and freely express yourself creatively. We so look forward to hosting more gatherings like this in the coming months. Also…be on the look out for live performance videos of the showcase, a new live series @stonestudio is proud to share.

It’s our property and all the beautiful spaces we hope to share with you! Multiple fire pit areas and picnic tables, buzzing flower beds with bees & butterflies, a brook-side lawn, and acres of woods with a trail to explore. Not to mention both our studios for intimate indoor hangs like songwriter showcases & workshops. We’re asking for your help to have community gatherings and contribute to a parking area project required by the town.

Round 1, of our crowdfunding we raised $580. THANK YOU for all your support so far! We’ve already started the tree clearing process because of your help! The funds have gone towards paying our handy and speedy neighbor for 1 day of clearing and to some materials costs (chainsaw chains & gas). We’re hoping to get closer to our goal and rent an excavator next week, one of the more costly pieces of equipment that’s necessary. Our aim is to have the parking area cleared and the surface car ready (stump free, some gravel and grass started) before August 19th for our first scheduled gathering of 2023. This will consist of a Dance performance and in studio Songwriter Showcase (details & RSVP link coming soon). We’re asking for your help to make this gathering, and future gatherings, happen.

If you’re not able to give financially, sharing and spreading the word about this campaign and about our businesses would be so helpful! @stonestudio is our on-site recording & production studio led by Graham and @manifest_it_collective is our on-site graphic design studio led by Alex. Both accepting new clients.

Thank you so much to those who generously gave to our first round of crowdfunding, we so appreciate it and you! You’ve enabled us to start the parking clearing process.

We’ve just launched round two of our Creating Space For Community campaign. 👉🏼In order to continue to have gatherings on our property we are required to provide on-site parking by the town. This requires clearing trees, renting an excavator and other equipment to create a stable, low impact, eco-friendly area to park cars.

We’re aiming to have our first gathering of 2023 on August 19th. *You heard it here first, so save the date, RSVP details to come*. BUT…in order to do so, we need to complete the parking area…so we’re asking for your help 🙏🏼! Please visit the link in our bio to learn more and consider donating.

Hello friends, if you haven’t seen it yet, we’ve started a crowdfunding campaign and we’re asking for your help.

Please help us create space for community so we can restart our gatherings. We need to create an on property parking area to get cars off the road so we can accommodate our collaborators, friends and family for future gatherings. Sorry we’ve been quiet on here…but we are asking for your help!

We’ve come so far over the last 2 years at Moonbeams and we finally have official permits to run our home-based businesses on the property — a process we’ve been going through this past Winter/Spring. Additionally we’ve been approved to have intimate gatherings on our 38 acre property. Similar to the ones we had last year and we’re excited to be able to do more!

We want to support artists, nurture our collective creative mindfulness and inspire eachother while enjoying nature together.

In order to restart our gatherings, we need to create on-property parking for you when you come to visit Moonbeams. We are doing this by making a clearing, on a wooded portion on our property, for parking cars of friends and collaborators for our gatherings so we can keep parking off our treasured quiet dirt road.

If you are able, we’d be overjoyed if you could please help us with this effort to raise funds to make these gatherings possible.
