There are many great events happening in June! On June 15th in celebration of Juneteenth the community is planning another handprint painting day. This act of adding your handprint to the Black Lives Matter mural signifies a continued commitment to justice and equality in our city, and everywhere. It reaffirms a commitment to protect, uplift and prioritize Black Lives in the face of people and systems that still wont. To continue to push for anti-racist policies, environments, and leaders, come add your handprint on June 15, Tollefson Plaza, 5 - 8pm. All are welcome, children should be accompanied by an adult. by @experiencetacoma

Working Forward, Weaving Anew is a mural designed to honor cultural traditions, the natural environment, and our need for new harmonious and sustainable paths forward into the future. The muralists worked closely with representatives from the Puyallup Tribe to ensure the cultural imagery in their artwork is respectful and accurate.
