Our semester had an animated start. Here is a mix of photos from the past weeks. We started planning for a cutout animation with synchronized sound and the past week was focused on animating beads, learning @dragonframe.software and adjusting lighting and cameras. Animated results coming soon!

Congratulations to all the experimenta.l. lab students and collaborators who had their shorts selected to be screened at the 5th Experimentanima @experimentanima
The films will be screened in Curitiba, Brazil, at the Cinemateca on 08/21 and at UTFPR on 08/28. So if you are in Curitiba, go check these and many more cool shorts during the event!
The event gives visibility to original and experimental works that find little space in the mass commercial circuit and helps to support experimental animation independent productions in Latin America.
You will also see throughout the festival next week the countdown animations we collaborated and created last year, inspired by Brazilian women animators!
