A live show and podcast hosted by Brendan Flaherty (@value_dog) because he doesn't understand

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a time we had last month. We did a deep dive on The Dessert, met our biological Mom and Dad, and....got evicted?!?

Ok it seems we've got to figure out a thing or two before resuming live shows. In the meantime, the backlog of unreleased pods will be released and @value_dog has got a new show coming up on September 20th called #GrainTrain (link in his bio ofc).

Look at all these awesome performers! Photos by the incomparable @xoxsatan

See you soon.

We're back THIS WEDNESDAY!
Come and see the live comedy and interview show that's earning rapturous adoration from audiences month after month. Be a part of a show that plumbs the depths of comedy to find the glittering core of humanity sparkling inside the dumbest joke. Also, drinks are cheap!

Guests @fist.abella (@thedessertonline), @laura.e.mclean (@medicalemergencycomedy), and @stephbabyneale & @jimmerr (@mommydaddypod) join @value_dog and a super suprise artisanal pop-up co-host! Tickets at the link where ya think on Eventbrite.

Don't be foolish. Be explained to.

Was Brendan replaced by AI? Should Marilyn Dennis be cancelled? How long can you survive living in the Dufferin Mall? We answered these questions and more on last month's show, and had a blast doing so tbh.

Thanks to Nick Flanagan, Surer Qaly, Carley Thorne, and Karis Anderson for being on the couch, Kelsey Ryan for sidekicking, Orwell for being our velveteen rock, and everyone who made it out!

Let's do it again! Link where ya think. It's a week from today so clear your schedule and make your way to Bar Orwell for more #PETTM or risk not being cool!

Wowee what a show we had last week! Great guests, great chats, and great portraits courtesy of the ever-talanted @xoxsatan. Let's do it again on June 21st! And... what's that? You can already snag your tickets to that show? And you should? I guess it's true what they say about live talk shows - they're even better when you go to them in person.
(The archive of unreleased episodes are going to start coming out next week btw...get caught up wherever you get podcasts!)

It's a hazy time as I write this caption... fires rage to the west, seasonal tensions simmer. Do we preserve ourselves for some idea of "summer fun"? Do we text that old friend? Start a new job? Get into psychedelics and drop off? Or is it better to find ourselves at the comedy talk show PLEASE EXPLAIN TORONTO TO ME on May 17th - that's Wednesday, folks - at 8 PM at Bar Orwell at 1505 Dundas West? Sure, it's "PWYC" but...C we even P? Must we? And at what cost, laughter, music, and, art? (Oh it's very affordable).

This time sponsored by NEW BEGINNINGS and @value_dog (and @420weedteen).

Joined this month by comedians @sidneymichelle and @normalcanadianwoman, @everardo___ramirez to chat about his album GOODBYE HORSES, and Polaris-nominated artist @zoongideewin (who also has a new album out on @paperbagrecords ) for a chat and performance.

Sounds great, right? It will be.
Let's hang.
Lincoln Buy-oh.

Not sure about this Death card but last night was a hoot and a holler. We laughed, we cried, we learned a lot about Dollarama. Let's do it all again on May 17th!
