PLINKY 12 has arrived at Exploding Shed.

Three expressive instruments, one ultra-thin touch platform: Blocks, Chords and Toadstep.

Blocks turns Plinky 12 into a multi-timbral groovebox for live playing, sequencing and deep experimentation.
Chords is built for harmonic exploration, expressive voicings and melodic inspiration.
Toadstep brings fast 4-track sequencing, acid lines, generative patterns and live performance control.

Touch, sequence, modulate and shape sound in your own way.

ONE FINAL RESTOCK.

@feedbackmodules DIY kits are back at Exploding Shed.

Sadly, Feedback Modular has discontinued its DIY kit production, so this will be the final batch we receive. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. by @explodingshed

The new Random8 by @mylar.melodies and @befacosynth is an eight-channel loopable random voltage source. The module helps you modulate multiple parameters of your modular synth, bringing movement, variation and life to your patches.

From evolving melodies and shifting timbres to unpredictable rhythms, eight channels open up plenty of creative possibilities.

Thanks to Mylarmelodies for the spontaneous @superbooth_berlin demonstration and jam!

We now have a limited number of assembled Random8 modules available in our shop. Check the link in our bio for more information.

The Workshop Computer is now available at Exploding Shed!

At Superbooth, Tom Whitwell gave us a closer look at the Workshop system and the new Workshop Computer Eurorack module.

Workshop is a standalone semi-modular synthesiser that combines a reprogrammable digital engine with a classic analog synth voice, bringing together the best of both worlds.

Workshop Computer isolates the reprogrammable digital side as a Eurorack module, allowing users to integrate this flexible tool into their Eurorack system.

Thanks to everyone who booked a DIY workshop with us this year at @superbooth_berlin . We were honestly overwhelmed by the huge interest and how quickly everything sold out.

We hope you’re already patching some cool noises with your new tools.

A big thank you also to all the manufacturers who guided participants through their builds and made these workshops possible.

We’re already looking forward to next year!

We’re back from Superbooth and had a wonderful time meeting so many people and getting a glimpse of the great tools that will soon be available to solder next.

It was inspiring to see so much creativity, curiosity and passion in one place. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, said hello, shared ideas or simply nerded out with us for a moment.

Here’s a small collection of pictures featuring gear and more from the past few days.

We hope you had a great time as well. See you in 2027! by @explodingshed
