Adventures here we come! This has been a long time coming. Lots of dreaming, planning and working hard to get to this stage and nearly on the road 😃 Australia has so much to offer and we are excited to travel around and explore some of it by @explore_withjaz

You dont have to go far or spend lots for a bit of fun and enjoyment 🦘

There's loads of dirt roads to plod along. Haven't seen a wombat for a while. Plenty of roos. We also love the roads that go along the riverside and cliff tops 😍 by @explore_withjaz

You cant really go too wrong with this!

If you want a decent little snack this mix is easy to whip up and yummy to eat

Blitz up about 250g of dates with
- a handful of coconut
- a cup of almond meal
- a scoop of eanut butter
- 2 scoops of cacao powder
- a decent splash of coconut oil
Don't forget a little cracked salt - that'll make them extra yummy!

Roll into balls, or press into a pan for a much faster result.

Fridge or freeze to firm up, then enjoy!

Lawns are taking off as we head toward Summer and there's so much growth in bushes (and weeds). Lots of beautiful sights 🌼

Side note on fossils - I've recently learnt about the La Brae tar pit in LA, look it up its amazing!

We've got the @stihl_au kids blower, whipper snipper and chainsaw in addition to our big boy tools by @explore_withjaz

Anyone who spent time on tour with our Earth Mother will appreciate the bitter sweet feeling! Today Jaz hosted her last tour with us for a while as she packs up her little family on a big adventure 😭 ✨️

Jaz has spent 2 years making our guests feel like family before the bus even left the driveway. That's a gift, not a job description.

She's swapping the tour route for the open road, hitting the highway to explore this whole wide country.

Life is a juggling act, and Jaz has always known exactly which balls matter most. We are happy to see her fulfil her dream, and can't wait to hear where the road takes her. And hopefully it's a full circle back home to us in the future.

We've been on chicken duty for a week and it was the last 7 days of a chickens 21 day incubation period. I wasnt the best pet minder and forgot to shut them up one night! Lucky it was only til 7.30pm and no feathered friends were missing. We got lots of eggs and the girls all semmed happy.

Hopefully one day we have our own chickens and hatch out many chicks by @explore_withjaz

Blue skies and river views as we ate our food. It felt so simple to get out and do and activities like this. Now on his own bike, it's a bit trickier, we can't just hit the main roads. Different phases of life, activities done differently.

I say "hiked" coz for little legs a rocky hill is a hike and it takes 10x longer than on my own 😅

Our @kidsrideshotgun seat is one of our best investments yet, still going strong with child #2 using it 🚴‍♀️ by @explore_withjaz

Does anyone actually love August? And I mean in SA. I definitely favour the warmwr months.

I used to think of August as a bit of a crappy time of year, but I'm seeing it differently these days. Many flowers are blooming. Gardens, roadsides and the bush. I feel such a positive energy being surrounded by new shoots and flowers. I dont think I'll evwr love August here in South Australia but I'm learning to like it. I think one big trick with colder temperatures is good inside and decent appropriate clothing, so many adventures can still be had outdoors with the kids 🧕🚴‍♀️ by @explore_withjaz
