Some dates are written by Heaven. 🤍🕊️Yesterday was my Abuela’s birthday. Today marks the anniversary of the day she became my guardian angel.Out of all the weeks in my life, God chose this one to reveal what my heart couldn’t yet see.This has been one of the hardest chapters my family has ever endured. Everything we poured our hearts into. Everything we believed in. Everything we worked so hard to build… seemed to fall apart.I found myself asking God, “Why?”Today, I finally understand.He wasn’t destroying our future. He was protecting it.I truly believe she’s was walking beside us every step of the way, guiding us away from what was never meant for us. While we thought we were losing everything, Heaven was quietly protecting our family.My grandma was the light of our family. Her faith, her love, and her beautiful spirit shaped the woman I am today. The light she carried lives in me, and it is the same light I pray my daughters carry throughout their lives.When Isabel was born, we gave her your beautiful name. Isabel Caridad carries a piece of you every single day—a reminder that your love, your faith, and your light will always live on through our family.Tonight I light this candle for you.Abuela… thank you for protecting us, for reminding me that truth always comes to light, and that God’s light will always be greater than any darkness.I don’t just miss you today… I feel you.Keep watching over us. We promise to continue living with the faith, integrity, kindness, and love you taught us.Light will always overcome darkness. Love will always overcome hate. There aren’t enough words to express what you mean to me, but I’ll try…Mi amor, you are the greatest blessing of my life. My husband, the father of our girls, and my best friend. You are the man who holds us together with your strength, your patience, and your unconditional love. You make me feel safe, seen, and deeply loved in a way I never knew was possible.Watching you be a father fills my heart in ways I can’t explain.
