The St. Croix boat tours have started!!!

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 In their 120th season, the same family has owned and operated @taylorsfallsboat since 1906!

⚓️The paddlewheel boat tours are such a relaxing and convenient way to get out on the water. Enjoy a charcuterie board and drinks and take in those amazing St. Croix River views.

⚓️While on the tour, the captain shares history and info on the rock formations. 🎶 Or you can sign up for a tour with live music!

💦 Tours run 7-days a week through October.

🛶 If you feel more adventurous, rent a canoe or kayak at @taylorsfallscanoe

Don’t miss this unique and nationally recognized event in the St. Croix Valley!

🏺There are seven pottery studios hosting sixty-eight potters from twenty states. I love this event because it’s intimate and homey at each studio, and you get to talk to the artists. You can visit all the studios in one day, but if you can, I’d make a Mother’s Day weekend of it!

A few other ideas-
Stay: @nordic_harbor in Center City. They offer a cozy rooftop to relax and take in the lake views. Enjoy a yummy beverage and a slice 🍕!

@lindstrompublicmarket - Visit Saturday morning from 9- Noon for a local farmers market before heading out to the pottery tour.

@taylorsfallsboat - Don’t miss a scenic boat tour on the St. Croix River. After a walk around the pottery tour, it will be a perfect way to relax.

Take the selfie! We visited Interstate State Park on the Wisconsin side and love this selfie stand location.

Did you know it is Wisconsin’s oldest park?! The Ice Age Interpretive Center is amazing with murals, films, and so much history and information.

The park encompasses 1400 acres on the beautiful St. Croix National Scenic Riverway.

We love the Chisago Lakes area because every direction you look, you see water. Chisago Lakes comprises 6 cities: Taylors Falls, Schafer, Almelund, Center City, Lindstrom, and Chisago City.

💦Tour the St. Croix River on the Paddlewheel River Boats, enjoy the Chisago Lakes Water Trail - 13 miles of paddling on 10 lakes, fish, swim, kayak, pontoon…everything lake life is here.

Meisterburger!!! Take I-35E or W from Twin Cities to charming Scandia. 🚙

🧡Local favorite
🍔Local and fresh Hereford beef, never frozen, hand-pattied
✅Great service and that cabin gem vibe
🍳Breakfast on weekends
🧡Lots of variety from Canadian walleye to yummy salads

It reminds me of the burgers my Dad made growing up. 😊

“TD, walk with your hands up” Is he in love or being arrested? 😂

Happy 97th to one of our faves!!! We took this on Elk Island for the Jackson Lake Lodge Breakfast Cruise. We can’t recommend it enough >> early morning lake cruise, amazing cowboy coffee, hot breakfast including fresh trout and homemade pancakes, and the mountain views on the island are out of this world. ❤️

Amazing new year-round indoor market and food hall in Lindström, Minnesota! @lindstrompublicmarket Now open every Saturday from 9am-12pm. ❤️

🏠The historic **Helberg** (correct spelling) Building is getting back to its cooperative roots. Bringing together community, growers, makers, and food producers.
