🌴 Barbados Resort Reviews: Sandals Barbados, 5 ⭐️

Next up in my Barbados resort review series is Sandals Barbados! I really loved the gorgeous grounds, the beach area with watersports, and the variety of amenities. There’s even a bowling alley!

This adults-only, all-inclusive resort on Dover Beach is designed for couples, with the added bonus of access to Sandals Royal Barbados right next door.

A few highlights:

🌴 Barbados Resort Reviews: Sea Breeze Beach House, 4.5 ⭐️

I’m kicking off my resort review series with my favourite of the properties we inspected in Barbados last week!

This smaller all-inclusive resort on Barbados’ south coast combines a beautiful beachfront setting with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of Bajan charm. With just 122 rooms and suites, it’s one I’d suggest for travellers who enjoy a more intimate resort experience. It’s cute as a button everywhere you look!

A few highlights:
• Rooms just steps from Maxwell Beach
• Included non-motorized watersports, including kayaking and paddleboarding
• Spacious suites with multiple bedrooms, ideal for families travelling together

Who would I recommend it for? Couples looking to unwind, beach lovers, and families or multigenerational groups wanting an all-inclusive stay with room to spread out.

Barbados + an amazing group of travel agents = One epic fam trip! 🇧🇧

Exploring the island, rum punches and “Sweet Caroline” on repeat, there was no shortage of laughter. So thankful for the new friends and moments that had us laughing until our cheeks hurt!

Exploring another side of Barbados this morning!

We visited Walkers Reserve, where a former sand quarry is being restored through sustainable farming and habitat restoration, then headed to Bathsheba to take in the rugged coastal scenery.

There’s so much to experience on the island, from wildlife encounters and island safaris to Harrison’s Cave, rum distillery tours and catamaran adventures with swimming and snorkelling!

🇧🇧 Day 2 in Barbados was a busy one!

We spent the day doing site inspections at The Crane, Sea Breeze Beach House, Bougainvillea Barbados, The Sands Barbados and Hilton Barbados, getting a firsthand look at what makes each resort unique.

After a quick swim and recharge, we finished the day at the Spirit of Barbados Awards Gala at Sandals Royal Barbados.

🇧🇧 Day 1 in Barbados!

Today was all about experiencing Barbados through a travel advisor’s eyes… Connecting with amazing local partners and discovering what makes this island so special for my clients. ❤️

From a Mount Gay rum tasting to swimming, snorkelling and sunset sailing on a luxury catamaran… It was an incredible day.

And ending the night watching baby sea turtles being rescued? Pure Barbados magic. ✨ taken in Barbados by @exploremorewithtami

🇧🇧 Out of Office: I’m off to Barbados!

My bags are packed and I’m heading to Barbados tomorrow!

I’ve been invited by the Barbados Tourism Marketing Board to spend the next several days experiencing the destination, exploring the island and completing plenty of resort site inspections along the way.

✈️ Did you know? Halifax has seasonal direct flights to Bridgetown, making it easy for Atlantic Canada to discover the island.

There’s nothing quite like experiencing a destination firsthand, and I’m looking forward to coming home with even more knowledge to help my clients find the right Barbados vacation.

I’ll be a little slower to respond while I’m away, but I promise I’m doing important research. 😉

🚢 A LITTLE SHIP EXPLORING!

I was lucky enough to spend some time onboard Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas!

This ship has a little bit of everything! Plenty of activities for those looking for adventure, great dining and entertainment, and lots of spaces to simply relax and enjoy being at sea.

I always love getting the chance to explore a ship and see what makes it unique. Independence of the Seas has a great mix of fun, entertainment and relaxation for all ages!
