Birds don’t fly at random. Their flight paths are shaped by a combination of wind conditions, terrain, energy efficiency, predator avoidance, and navigation. By tracking these trajectories, researchers gain valuable insights into migration patterns, habitat use, and how birds interact with changing landscapes.

The eyes of reptiles and amphibians are more than just beautiful. Their unique colors, patterns, and pupil shapes have evolved over millions of years to help them hunt, hide, communicate, and survive in their environments. No two species see the world in exactly the same way.

Looking closely reminds us that some of the most extraordinary works of art aren’t created by humans, but by evolution itself.

Manaus reveals one of the world’s most remarkable boundaries between city and nature. At the city’s edge, the urban grid gives way almost instantly to the vast Amazon rainforest, creating a striking contrast between the built environment and untouched wilderness. Surrounded by protected forest, Manaus continues to grow while remaining deeply connected to the world’s largest tropical rainforest.

At first glance, they look almost invisible. But up close, tiny mushrooms reveal an entirely different world.

Some are no larger than a grain of rice, yet they display delicate textures, vivid colours, and intricate structures that rival much larger organisms. Hidden among soil, moss, and decaying wood, these miniature fungi play a vital role in forest ecosystems, helping break down organic matter and recycle nutrients back into the earth.

Through macro photography, these artists bring that unseen world into focus, revealing details most of us would walk past without ever noticing.

Sometimes the most extraordinary beauty in nature exists at the smallest scale.

Being a photographer isn’t always about the final image. Sometimes, it’s about the waiting, the witnessing, and everything that happens before getting the shot.

The more I do photography, the more I realize that the final image is only one part of the story.
We often celebrate the photograph that makes it to the gallery, the feed, or the portfolio. But behind every frame are countless moments walking, waiting, observing, experimenting, failing, and trying again🫶🏼
That’s why I love documenting the journey too. Not because every BTS photo is perfect, but because it reminds me of the effort, the process, and the experience that led to that final image. 🙌
Sometimes, we should pause and appreciate ourselves, not just for the photograph we created, but for showing up, putting in the work, and staying curious enough to keep creating no matter what the situation is 📷❤️💫

Baby foxes, known as kits, spend their first weeks close to the den while their parents provide food and protection. During this time, they grow rapidly and use play to develop coordination and social awareness.

As they mature, these early interactions help build strength, balance, and the skills needed before they begin venturing farther from the den with adults.
