Been gate-keeping this for far too long , @plusnineone_ takes traditional Indian regional food and elevates it to another level with international techniques, fine-tuning it to perfection.

This is some of the best food the city has to offer.

A trio of chefs all from different backgrounds, adding their own finesse.

Started with the Jhol momo 🥟 , jhol done the french velouté way, smooth, spicy, creamy & packed with flavour.

Belgian Pork Belly : caramelised Belgian pork belly , with a Manipuri black sesame masala and topped with some crumble and apple sauce , it’s a burst of flavours , with apple and sesame cutting through the right pork belly.

Mutton Nihari : Lamb nihari , slow cooked to perfection, lucious rich , velvety gravy with dollops of bone marrow, paired with the usual condiments and a soft khamiri roti

Tandoori Chicken 🍗: This is a poussin or a baby chicken , marinated with the tandoori masala cooked like a roast chicken skin on , served with this yoghurt based sauce , rich , smooth & well balanced, goes very well with the succulent chicken.

The space has a very art deco vibe with a lot of natural light, some beautiful portraits & wooden windows.

The bar counter is home to some pretty interesting drinks including the petrichor.

The wooden windows make for an ideal date spot.

GK 1 M Block Market 📍

@locosden is gk1’s latest cool bar, a departure from the old school spots in the market, this place freshens things up with a cool rooftop setup.

Tried the Grilled lamb naked sandwich which had hand cut fries , grilled lamb, arugula , aioli and tomatoes!

The drinks menu has two distinct selections the ‘lunch flow & the dinner flow’

if you like something refreshing then definitely go for the Community Table , a gin based cocktail with green apple , basil , cucumber topped up with some tonic. Light fizzy with notes of green apple and basil.

@makan.delhi as the name suggests is a departure from your regular loud & busy cafes, it rather focuses on making you feel at ease at home.

Slow , warm, inviting & lounge like, the Pièce de résistance is the attic on the first floor, with seating on both sides, it’s ideal for reading & working while sipping away on your favourite beverage.

The place cocoons you from the hustle & bustle of city life

Stuck to my usual iced espresso , which was par for the course.

Green Park Delhi ⛳️

Tucked away in a corner opposite green park main market, @getoffmrkt is the new cool and snazzy coffee shop on the block.

Inside you are welcomed with a red glow board and funky graffiti on the glass panes.

They have an experimental hot and cold coffee menu with a lot of interesting combinations.

The cranberry winter mocha & the peaches & cream cold brew being interesting picks.

I stuck to my usual iced espresso , for which they use a strong dark roast, bold , bitter & chocolatey, it hit the spot!

Currently the hottest bar in the ever so buzzing G-Block market in Hauz Khas.

@sodashoppbar you are welcomed with a very quirky interior starting with the stained glass walls , followed by cool frames of cat and dog portraits gambling & partying, not to forget the even quirkier murals.

It’s a no nonsense bar offering a good range of really strong and inexpensive shots served in cute soda bottles.

The chili mango tequila & the sweet caramel coffee tequila shots are definitely worth the try & so are the orange rasna & kala khatta soda specials!

They also have a range of 12 craft cocktails 🍸 on the menu

It’s always packed & the drinks are sure to get you buzzing & blurry.

A must visit!

Having bid farewell to vasant vihar , this is @superkicksindia’s new flagship store in GK2 M block market Delhi.

The mangalore roof tiles make it instantly recognisable providing a warm welcoming vibe.

Inside the main centre of attraction is a vinyl station & colourful shoe racks with neatly spaced out dunks.

It’s a space that most definitely invites you, slows you down, in the ever so cool world of urban streetwear.

The shop is home to sweet treats , gooey cookies 🍪 coffee ☕️ and other beverages , the loft is a cozy and comfy pad to relax, indulge & catch up on your work, the lab is for all things fun & experimental.

The loft is supremely aesthetic!

Got my usual iced espresso which was bold , chocolatey & bitter , it never disappoints!

Part of @weareabnah latest foray into the cafe space , @ingoodcoindia is about experiencing good coffee in good company.

The pastel light blue interiors with quirky branding , cheerful staff, a dedicated co working space make for a great spot for a coffee date , catching up on some work & tucking into a light brunch.

This place is very aesthetically pleasing, sprinkle in dedicated menu’s for Specialty Coffee/beverages & Brunch and you have the perfect ingredients for an ideal contemporary cafe.

Tried my go to medium roast iced espresso which didn’t disappoint & for slow brews you have 3 choices of beans.

What started off as a cute coffee counter at galleria market last year , now experience their new flagship outlet at South Point Mall.

@1000percentcoffee is all about crafted not rushed, the exposed concrete minimalist interiors makes for a great spot to chill, grab a coffee and quick meal.

Now with an all day brunch menu along with the extensive coffee menu.

Tried an iced pourover with the Red Globe beans which had notes of red cherry , red grape , gooseberry & sun dried banana! Top Notch as usual!

@ate_altogetherexperimental Omakase is the latest spin off of @ate_altogetherexperimental which brings a four course Omakase style coffee experience to Gurgaon.

An extensive & experimental coffee menu where coffee is served just like a well curated cocktail.

This place takes your average coffee experience up a few notches.

The Omakse style coffee bar is the centre of attraction here.

Tried the house cold brew with an orange wedge which was bold in flavour with subtle notes of citrus.

Coffee duties are served by @caarabicoffee.

Found my new favorite "work-from-cafe" spot in Hauz Khas. @thedrop.del is high-key cozy with a staff that makes you feel like a regular on day one.

Why go?
The Variety: Matcha, Hojicha, and some top notch coffee beans on offer, a house blend followed up with @subkocoffee & @bachacoffee

The Flex: Espresso served in tiny, "cute-as-a-button" miniature bottles.

The Vibe: 10/10 for productivity or a quick caffeine reset
