TRELAWNY 🇯🇲

As someone who grew up on roots reggae, ska, lovers rock, dub, and rocksteady.. visiting Jamaica for the second time was a dream.
Next time I’ll be staying in Kingston and seeing more of this beautiful Island. I cannot wait to return 🏝️

Malta is so close to my heart, and a big part of my heritage, so below I’m listing my tips and recommendations if you’re planning a trip..and if you’re not. Get on with it!

Firstly, renting a car. It’s cheap and allows you the freedom to explore the Island in its entirety. Always check the reviews when renting, and take pictures of the car before you drive off (stating the obvious). Drive carefully, it’s a free spirited Island 😏

SUNSET 🌅
Ghajn Tuffieha Tower: Mgarr
Hands down, best sunset views in Malta. The ultimate place to chill out, watch the sun go down in utter tranquility beside an old watch tower dating back to 1637. *chefs kiss*

HISTORY 🇲🇹
Mdina: The Silent City 🤫
The city packed with history confined within beautiful walls. Go see St Paul’s Cathedral, St Paul’s Catacombs, Plazzo Falson & the Old city fortress.
Valetta: The Tiny Capital ⚜️
The scenery in Valetta will take your breath away. Upper Barrakka Gardens are worth a visit for the views alone. A small but very beautiful park in Valetta filled with unique foliage.

PARTY 💃🏼
@cafedelmarmalta : Qawra St Paul’s Bay
If like me Paceville (think San Antonio Bay Ibiza but for students lol) isn’t for you, this is the place to go. A lovely place to catch the sun, eat amazing food & dance the night away. Have a look at what’s on, the events are always on Sundays.

FOOD 🍲
@one80kitchenmellieha : Mellieha
Beautiful Mediterranean cuisine, tables overlooking the gorgeous marina. Staff are attentive, food is delicious. Cocktails are 10/10.

EXPLORE 🗺️
Ta’ Marija Cave: Mgarr (HIKE)
Ngl, got lost on a mountain trying to find this one. Be careful if you decide to go to this cave, views are worth it but the journey is not for the faint of ❤️.

EXCURSION 🌊
Malta Private boat: Mgarr to Comino
Dropping anchor far from crowds & visiting hidden beaches. From the Blue Lagoon to Lovers Caves we visited too many spots to name, highly recommend this. Azure coloured waters and idyllic scenes.
