The Glade Restaurant, Kibworth, Leicestershire | @theglade.wfp 🌿

I was invited to try out the Glade Restaurant @windmillfarmpark and enjoyed a lovely meal there with friends today 🍴

Set in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, it’s a gorgeous spot to sit back, enjoy good food and take in the views 🌳

We tried the Glade Breakfast, the cannellini bean pâté, and fluffy pancakes with homemade berry compote & whipped cream — all delicious! 🥗🍳🥞 We also sampled plenty of drinks, including coffee, tea, raspberry lemonade and an iced vanilla ube matcha ☕️🍵

There were lots of other tempting options on the menu too, including a Little Explorers menu for children, making it a great option for a family meal as well. 🫶

I particularly loved the focus on quality local ingredients, the beautiful countryside views and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you can settle in, enjoy your food and catch up without feeling rushed.

And it’s open to everyone with no farm park ticket needed, so you can pop in for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and a catch-up.

A lovely new foodie find in the Leicestershire countryside! 💚

Thank you @theglade.wfp for having us! ✨

A little trip to Algeria last week 🇩🇿❤️

We spent time catching up with family in Algiers and headed out to Tizi Ouzou, where we explored the beautiful hills, collected fresh water from the natural spring and met plenty of cats along the way! 😺🌿

Back in Algiers, we found a little taste of the UK at the English Speaking Cafe @esc.delyibrahim 🇬🇧☕️ and and treated ourselves to some amazing éclairs from @maitreeclair 😋

A lovely mix of family time, beautiful scenery, unexpected discoveries and lots of good food! ✨🇩🇿❤️ by @exploringfootprints

This week I headed to the Shropshire Hills for a little solo break at @baronlodges ✨🌿

I stayed in the gorgeous Stiperstones Lodge, which was the perfect place to slow down and switch off, with everything I needed for a proper reset… delicious coffee ☕️, a super comfy bed 🛌, relaxing in the hot tub 🫧 and even a dip in the natural swimming pool 🏊‍♀️

Evenings were a highlight too… sitting outside by the fire pit 🔥 listening to the owls hooting and watching bats flying overhead🦉🦇✨

I did venture out to explore too, heading up nearby Bucknell Hill and met some friendly sheep along the way 🐑🥾

Two nights, lots of relaxing and absolutely no one asking me what’s for dinner 😂💙

Thanks so much to the lovely people at @baronlodges for a wonderful stay!

Yesterday we headed to @jackandbeyond to try their Bottomless Cake Experience and the kids absolutely loved it! ✨🍰

They shared the experience and started with a tasting plate of 7 different cakes, before being let loose to choose as many more slices as they wanted over 90 minutes! 😋

They had such a good time trying all the different flavours, although were defeated after a couple of extra slices and definitely weren't contenders for the current bottomless cake record of 27 slices! 😂🍰

I went for a Nutella chocolate cupcake and a beetroot & ginger latte, both absolutely delicious! ☕️🫚💜

Thanks @jackandbeyond for a wonderful afternoon! 🫶 🍰

A day full of delicious discoveries at the @festivaloffooddrink! 🍕🍛✨

From watching brilliant cookery theatre demos with @clairesyrenne and @deanedwardschef 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 to browsing the retail village and sampling some seriously tasty street food, there was plenty to keep our taste buds happy! 😋

We enjoyed pizza from @elevatedpizza1 🍕, loaded chickpea curry fries from @mookiesindianstreetfood 🍛 and chocolate-covered strawberries from Chocolate Express 🍓🍫. All so delicious! 😋

My daughter also loved getting stuck into the Kids Cookery School, where she made her own rocky road 🍫👩‍🍳. A definite highlight for her! 🥰

A perfect day for food lovers of all ages, we're already looking forward to next year! Thanks again to @jemmainnottingham for our tickets too 🫶

We started with bubbling red & green mocktails before our cloaked server brought us a delicious selection of sandwiches, scones & sweet treats. Really generous portions and so tasty! 🥪🍰🧁🍸

It's Chocolate Week 2026, so what better excuse to celebrate one of our favourite chocolate shops! 🍫 🤎

We first discovered @luisasveganchocolates last year after going ice skating in Nottingham, when we popped in to warm up with a delicious hot chocolate 🫕

And of course, we couldn’t leave without treating ourselves to some chocolates too so we picked up a box of the Ultimate Artisan Chocolates 🍫 We loved the flavours from raspberry & blueberry 🫐 to pistachio praline, matcha latte 🍵 turmeric chai, mango 🥭 and Sicilian orange 🍊 So good! 😋

All the chocolate is made from bean to bar on site, and they also work directly with cacao farmers and focus on ethical sourcing, so there’s real care behind the chocolate as well as the lovely flavours. 🌱 🤎

Happy Chocolate Week! 🍫❤️

A flying visit to New York! 🗽🍎

I had my first trip to the US at the weekend and it did not disappoint! Thanks to the lovely people at @boden we flew out for a couple of days, stayed at the @mercerhotel and visited the Boden pop up shop complete with an English cafe and their range of gorgeous clothes 👗🫖

First stop exploring the city was Times Square then a wander up to Central Park where we hired bikes from @bikerentalcentralpark 🚲🌳 Next was a trip on the Staten Island Ferry past the Statue of Liberty 🗽🛳 and a bit of shopping at @empireoutlets 🛍. Before we left we had a wander around @chelseamarketny and went down to Brooklyn to refuel at the @timeoutmarketnewyork with great views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the city from it's roof terrace 🏙

A huge thanks to @boden for our incredible trip and also the credit to spend on your website ❤️
