🔥 This ship burned to a crisp over 100 years ago… today she rests peacefully 165 feet beneath the surface, perfectly preserved in the 38°F freshwater of Lake Ontario.

The fire stripped away her outer hull, exposing the ship’s massive wooden frame. Descending onto the wreck feels like encountering the skeleton of some ancient behemoth frozen in time.

One of the most surreal dives yet… the Queen of The Lakes // ☠️ 1906

@aaronexploring and I descend to 200 + feet into the 36 degree dark depths of the Great Lake Ontario.

There lies this magnificent wreck still standing up right with all 3 of her masts still standing, I’ve dreamed of diving a ship this for a long time. 🥋✅
