Forever chasing the hidden gems of Rocky Mountain National Park 🏔️

Beyond the well worn trail, away from the crowds, we found beauty we never knew to seek.

A hidden lake holding the sky, beneath peaks brushed in morning gold, clouds drifting like dreams between the ridgelines, as if the mountains were sharing secrets meant only for those who wandered far enough to hear them.

Happy National Park Week! This week the National Park Service turns 110! From the Virgin Islands to American Samoa, from Guam to Puerto Rico, from South Carolina to California, and Maine to Alaska, the National Park Service protects over 430 sites. Although they are not as protected as we once thought they were (Big Bend, Mojave, Prince William, Gates of the Arctic), they still receive a high level of security from dismantling. Our voices, the voices of the People of the United States, must continue to speak up for our culture, wildlife, lands, air, dark sky and waters. Our public lands and parks cannot exist without YOU. So get out there and celebrate your love for National Parks!

Thank you @exposureswithevan for kicking off the week for us. For the past two months, I’ve spent countless hours lost in the Rockies. Somewhere between the long miles, quiet mornings, and endless peaks, I’ve been letting go of what no longer feels like me, making peace with what was, and slowly finding my way back to the person I was always meant to be. 🌄🌲⛺️

There’s something different about standing on a summit after fighting for every step to get there. The exhaustion fades, the noise disappears, and for a moment, it’s just you, the mountains, and the realization that the climb changed you more than the view ever could. 🌄 taken in Grand Teton National Park by @exposureswithevan

Chasing light through valleys carved by time 🎨

Before arriving in the Faroes, I spent countless hours searching for compositions beyond the iconic viewpoints. While the classics are beautiful, I was drawn to the hidden locations far off the beaten path.

When we arrived, it was pouring rain. But I spotted a break in the clouds and gambled that the sun would break through at the last possible moment. I raced up the mountainside and arrived just in time.

Seconds later, the clouds parted and golden light flooded the valley. One of those rare moments where preparation, persistence, and a bit of luck come together perfectly a moment I’ll never forget. 🇫🇴 taken in Faroe Islands by @exposureswithevan
