It’s your turn.

Expressing Grace Volume One is done. And the room has spoken… we’re not finished.

If you have a testimony that needs to be told, we want to hear it.

It doesn’t have to be polished. It just needs to have God’s fingerprints all over it even if you’re still in the middle of it.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

A first-person written testimony of God’s grace in your life. Between 750 and 800 words. Something you can read aloud in 6 to 8 minutes. It has to be true and it has to be yours.

If you’re selected you will be contacted directly with next steps.

Expressing Grace is a curated experience. Every voice is handpicked. Every testimony chosen with intention to build faith, encourage spirits, and remind a room full of people that we still serve a healing, miracle-working God.

I want to make something really clear to anyone who’s been thinking about shsting but hasn’t yet:

you do not have to be a writer.
You don’t have to be a poet, or an orator, or a performer, or someone who’s ever done anything like this before.

You just have to be somebody who has something to say about their God.

If sitting down to write feels like the hard part, skip it. Talk it out instead… open your Notes app and speak it, or record a voice memo like you’re just telling a friend what happened.

Run it through a transcription app or ask AI to clean up the text.

Then go back through what’s there and edit it until it sounds like you again, until it’s back in your own words and your own voice. That’s it. That’s the whole process.

The story matters more than how it’s written down.

I’d rather have your true, unpolished testimony than a beautifully written one that isn’t really yours. Submissions close July 26th— link in bio.

Wait, does the Lord have a testimony? I've been reading Psalm 19 this week and got stuck on one word... testimony.

Verse 7 says "the testimony of the Lord is sure." What does that even mean?

Well in Hebrew word behind "testimony" in Psalm 19:7 is edut (עֵדוּת), and it doesn't mean testimony in the sense of a personal story... like someone standing up and sharing "here's what God did in my life." It's more of a legal term: a witness, or evidence that stands as proof of something.

God's testimony isn't him talking about himself. His testimony is his faithfulness, made visible to us so we can be sure enough that we can build our lives on it.

That's what Expressing Grace is.

When we stand up and share what God did, we're not just sharing a nice moment. We're leaving evidence. Proof that grace is real, specific, and sure. We are testifying of an actual account of what happened and who carried us through it.

Somebody NEEDS your evidence.

You have been writing something in your notes app for months now.

Maybe it started as a paragraph late one night when you could not sleep. Then it turned into pages. Either way you keep coming back to it, adding a sentence here, refining a line there, not because you planned to share it anywhere but because the story keeps pressing on you and writing it down is the only way to hold it.

This is your testimony. It is the thing God brought you through, the moment everything shifted, the victory you did not think you would see on the other side.

And it has been sitting on your phone because you are not sure what to do with it now.

But here is what Revelation 12:11 says. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the WORD OF THIER TESTIMONY.

Not by the testimony they kept to themselves... but by the word of it. The speaking of it. The sharing of it out loud with other people who need to hear that God still does what He says He will do.

You did not go through what you went through just for you. You went through it so that someone else in the middle of their own battle could hear your voice and know they are not alone. That is how we overcome. Together. With our stories spoken, not hidden.

Testimony Night is November 7th, and we are holding space for the story you have already been writing. Submissions are open until July 26th, and the notes app draft you have been carrying is exactly what belongs in that room.

You already know you have a story that you've been drafting quietly for months now.

Maybe you're not sure what to do with it or whether it belongs anywhere outside the privacy of your screen. But your story, your testimony...was never designed to be hidden. It was always supposed to be spoken.

And that’s exactly what Expressing Grace was built for.

Not a concert, a conference or a performance.

But a reminder.

A reminder that we still serve a miracle-working God. That your season has an end. That somebody else was where you are, and God showed up anyway.

Seven handpicked voices. Seven testimonies chosen with intention to build your faith, encourage your spirit, and remind you of who God is and what He’s still capable of.

And the room received every single word.

A lot of people are telling testimony without calling it that.

They’re describing God’s work without giving Him the credit.

The shift in mindset. The way that was made out of no way. The thing that should have broken you, and didn’t. The coincidence that was too specific to be a coincidence. The moment everything changed and you still can’t fully explain how.

That’s not inspiration.
That’s not the universe.
That’s not manifestation.

That’s God.

And that’s a testimony.

Expressing Grace is the room where we call it what it actually is, and give credit to the One who deserves it.

Happy National Poetry Month

Poetry and testimony have never been separate things.

How do I write about human life without mentioning the One who created it?

How do I put words together and not give credit to the Creator of language itself?

I can’t.

Every poem I’ve ever written has been a testimony.

Every testimony has been an ode to God’s grace and love.

Both are just truth, spoken out loud, in the voice God gave me, about the life He walked me through.

That’s what Expressing Grace is.

A room where seven people will stand at a microphone on June 13th and say (out loud, in their own words, in their own voice) let me tell you what God did.

Just a human being telling the truth about the One who kept them.

That’s poetry.
That’s testimony.
That’s the same thing.
Come be in the room.

We don’t talk about what we lost when testimony service all but disappeared.

The part where somebody just stood up (no announcement, no notes) and said God kept me.

And the whole room felt it.
