A SLICE OF ART EXCLUSIVE | Middle East Peace Monument Unveiling: Zoya Eshwar & Ben Valenty 🕊️ A message of peace doesn't always need a microphone. Sometimes, it needs a canvas. We had the opportunity to attend the unveiling of the Global Peace Initiative's @prodigies4peace Middle East Peace Monument in Los Angeles and speak with Zoya Eshwar @zoyasrainbowtouch, the young artist behind this remarkable creation, and Ben Valenty, Founder of the Global Peace Initiative. Chosen by Ben to design the organization's fourth peace monument, Zoya spent over 20 months bringing her vision to life. It's amazing to see how something that started as an idea on canvas has now become a monumental work of art, carrying a message of peace and hope. One of the things that stood out to us was how much care went into every detail—from the dove extending an olive branch, which transforms into a paintbrush and palette, to the words Shalom and Salam on its bracelet. One thought from Zoya especially stayed with us: peace is not simply the absence of fighting; it is kindness towards others. Equally inspiring was hearing Ben share his vision for the Global Peace Initiative and his belief in the power of young artists. By choosing Zoya to create this monument, Ben showed what can happen when someone believes in a young artist's vision and gives them the opportunity to share it with the world. While the Los Angeles unveiling was an important moment, the monument's journey isn't over yet. It still awaits its permanent home in the Middle East. Thank you, Zoya and Ben, for sharing the story behind this incredible monument with us. Your work reminds us that even one idea, one artwork, and one young voice can carry a message much bigger than itself. 🤍 🎨 Explore more of Zoya's artwork and initiatives at https://www.zoyasrainbowtouch.com/ 🎬 Team Credits 🎤 Interviewer & Editing: Ananya Nimmagadda 📸 Media Capture: Sweety Saradha With gratitude to @expressions__arts and @sweetysaradhaarts —the foundation from which A Slice of Art began. #ASliceOfArt #GlobalPeaceInitiative #MiddleEastPeaceMonument #ZoyaEshwar #BenValenty #ArtForPeace #YoungArtists #ArtForChange by @expressions__arts
