this past Sunday, we hosted our fourth creative co-work session in collaboration with Ashley Mia Studios (@byashleymia) and The BLKRoom (@the.blkroom).our co-work sessions are designed for creatives to recharge, be productive, and authentically connect with one another, within safe space. for this session, our guests received complimentary signature portraits by Ashley Mia Studios (@byashleymia), to support them in their creative endeavors. we’re extremely grateful for the opportunity to host in a beautiful space such as, The BlkRoom (@the.blkroom) — a space that increases the accessibility for artists and creatives to bring their visions to life. our sincerest thank you to everyone who came out to hang with us. we adored spending our Sunday with you. until next time 🤍 by @exprsn.studios

for the past 4 years, we’ve been producing the Teacher Spotlight Award for Community Goods (@community_goods). a project highlighting and celebrating black CPS teachers doing big things to support their community in unique ways. this year, we had the privilege to uplift seasoned educator, Ino Milton, in collaboration with Every Now and Then (@every_now_and_then) for their New Balance 993, ‘community pack’ release. we love producing this project because it centers care, intention, consideration, and grace — reminding us the impact showing up for one another truly makes. hearing Ino’s story, learning about her background, and where she’s come from, gave us a deeper respect for the way she selflessly cares for the students and families, beyond the classroom. — Photographer: @noahtrujillosmithShop New Balance 993 at everynow-andthen.com by @exprsn.studios
