TL;DR: Freezing your eggs does NOT cause early menopause🙅‍♀️

Dr. Klein explains why: egg freezing rescues eggs your body would have lost during a normal period cycle anyway, so it doesn’t speed up your clock.

Took your trigger shot a few minutes early and now you’re spiraling? Take a breath. Taking it a few minutes before or after your scheduled time is not going to impact egg maturity. Timing does matter, but you don’t need to panic over a small slip. If you’re ever unsure, call your care team. That’s what we’re here for.

The first article announced the plans for a new birth center. This week’s article covered a local community event where @joshuakleinmd and I were invited as guest speakers to discuss the birthing center, physiologic birth, and expanding birth options for families.
A lot has happened between these two articles. What was a vision has become a reality, with so many beautiful births since—including another beautiful baby born at the center just this morning!
