to fit weft hair extensions sections of your hair are carefully threaded through small beads, these pockets then act as anchors for each precise stitch to hold your weft in place.

these evenly spaced anchor points distribute the weight of the weft across your scalp, resulting in little to no tension. this braidless weave is one of the safest, most secure and most comfortable weft installation methods.

creating dimension using @beautyworksprofessional new double wear weft, laying totally flat to the scalp. no bulk whatsoever and super comfortable to wear.

these are refit every 8 weeks at a maintenance appointment where the weft is removed along with each bead and any naturally shed hair, your hair is re-sectioned and weave securely stitched in again for another 8 weeks.

5 products that will save you time & make your extensions last:

• beauty works 10 in 1 - one of my top recommendations for detangling extensions. it helps to condition and hydrate the hair while allowing your brush to glide through more easily, reducing unnecessary pulling and breakage. rough brushing can cause excessive tension on the hair and contribute to premature thinning, so this is an easy step to help protect your extensions. + it also adds heat protection. these are available to purchase in the salon for your new set.

• tangle teezer - the perfect brush to use with your detangler. its gentle and helps minimise pulling and tugging, making it ideal for extensions.

• remington blow dryer - this is the hairdryer i personally reach for every time (while my shark flexstyle collects dust). it’s super affordable for the quality and is lightweight, easy to use and comes with both blow drying and root concentrating attachments. having a good quality, lightweight dryer makes drying your extensions much quicker and easier.

• wide plate straightener - if you’re adding length, i’d recommend a wide plate straightener. the wider plates are a lot more efficient for styling, saving you so much time.

• satin bonnet - an essential imo for protecting your extensions while you sleep. a satin bonnet helps to minimise friction, which can contribute to breakage and frizz, leaving your hair smoother and more manageable in the morning.

the right products and a consistent routine can make a big difference to how your extensions look, feel and last between appointments.
