Great news indeed… paying ATO with your credit card decision delayed until June 2027. The government and ATO need to start making decisions that support small businesses. #supportsmallbusiness #supportlocal by @extraction_artisan_coffee

When you visit us, we have one simple goal… to make your day a little better! 🙏

How do we do that?

💛 Good old-fashioned hospitality. No ordering QR codes here! Just real people, genuine smiles, friendly chats and a team who love looking after you.

🍽️ Food worth getting out of bed for. Creative, elevated café food, made with care from real ingredients.

☕️ Seriously good coffee. Exceptional specialty coffee, plus our curated Reserve Coffee Menu for those who love something a little extra special.

✨ A unique space like no other. We're a little different, and we like it that way!

At the end of the day, we're about more than great food and coffee. We're about making people feel welcome, creating connections and giving you a reason to leave with a smile.

That's the Extraction experience. 🙏

Alex representing small business in an interview this afternoon on @news24aus 🙏 Where ever you are in Australia this weekend, support a small business. Whether that means a purchase or sharing a social media post, or simply words of encouragement, small businesses need their communities. ☕️ Thank you to everyone that has voiced their opinion and offered their support.💛 #gratitude #supportsmallbusiness #survivingnotthriving #extractionartisancoffee by @extraction_artisan_coffee

Today’s announcement that from 1 Nov you can no longer pay the ATO using a credit card has really hit home that we aren’t on a level playing field. ➡️ We’re passionate about our ☕️ business, we’re passionate about people and 💛 making a difference. Unfortunately it seems the government isn’t passionate about small business owners. Are there any pollies out there that would like to debate? 😁#survivingnotthriving by @extraction_artisan_coffee

💛 Shining a light on all the hands and hearts that grow coffee, process coffee, trade coffee, roast coffee, prepare coffee, love coffee! The global journey from coffee cherry on the farm to reaching your cup is immense. Today, just take a little bit of time to think about that. 🙏 #specialtycoffee #lovecoffee #gratitude #internationalcoffeeday by @extraction_artisan_coffee

A little heads-up from us…

From 1 October, our prices will increase.
+ 30 cents drinks
+ 50 cents meals

New rules mean businesses can no longer pass on card processing fees as a surcharge, but those fees haven’t disappeared. We still have to pay them. It's not sustainable to absorb those costs so we have no choice but to raise our prices to cover this new expense.

We know... this sucks, but we'd like to continue operating for as long as possible.

Our commitment to you continues to be genuine hospitality, a welcoming place to belong for everyone, quality food and exceptional coffee.

Thank you for understanding and thank you for supporting local 🙏
