On September 19th, we were married on the land where my childhood home used to be.

My family lived in the Altadena foothills for over thirty years, but in the Eaton fires, our family home was destroyed. It had always been my dream to be married there, and even after the fires, it was no different. Instead of looking for an outside venue, Kinsey and I decided to honor my childhood dream and it was a beautiful opportunity to celebrate renewal, rebirth, and welcome people back to the beauty of Altadena. It took a lot of elbow grease from us and friends and family, but we did it!

We also kept the wedding intentionally close to home. My dress was by LA-based designer Katherine Tash, our rings custom made by LA-based jeweler Maggie Simpkins (@maggisimpkins ). Food by our favorite local restaurant.

This is our love letter to eachother, and our California roots 💗
