Beneath Louisiana skies, the trees wear Spanish moss like poetry—softly swaying, quietly holding stories the years have left behind. by @eyeam1978

I heard it’s #WorldPhotographyDay 📸, and although finding consistent personal time to get out and shoot has been a little challenging, I couldn’t let the day pass me by without sharing a little something—present and past. by @eyeam1978

When I first shared that I was going to take drumming lessons, the first question was, “What kind of drums are you going to play?”

Honestly, I had NO idea… and I didn’t care. I was fully prepared to bang on a bucket.

Well, today was Day 1, and to my surprise, I had the FULL drum set in front of me. Like… oh, we’re really doing this?! 😂

I have to give a huge shoutout to my friend for being incredibly patient, encouraging, and making the whole experience so much fun. I had the BEST time learning something completely new—and quickly realized that drumming comes with benefits beyond just learning how to keep a beat.

I’m in the BEST hands, and I’m soooo grateful. ❤️

Also… prepare to get sick of me posting about this, because apparently this is part of my personality now.

And be honest… ME taking drum lessons was definitely NOT on your bingo card this year. @kidds_corner @pocket_music_group @good_human_music_ @mista_kidd by @eyeam1978
