My mother was undeniably the embodiment of “that girl.” She had a unique gift for bringing family together, transforming the concept of “immediate family” into a vibrant community where everyone mattered. She nurtured her sisters, brother, their children, and her husband with a fierce sense of responsibility and love that was truly inspiring. I often tell God, “If I could experience life all over again, Please let her be my mother, again.” Thank you, Ma, for instilling in me the true meaning of family. It’s even better when you don’t have to ask. I needed water and didn’t tell a soul. Growing up in Boston, I could go 15 to 30 minutes and let the ocean take away all the stress. Living in Maryland, it’s 3 hours to the ocean. After this trip, I feel like anything is possible, and I am protected even when it doesn’t make sense to me. by @eyeamtiara
