The Grouch & Eligh ft Eli-Mac - Like Water (full clip) 🌊

This was originally a content clip type shoot we did on the fly when Eli-Mac wasn’t around. I didn’t want to use it as an “official video” (whatever that means these days) because she wasn’t present and cause I thought of this as a song about water with a visual with no water in it, so we sat on it. I always knew it looked too cool to just never share but my “perfectionism” ran the show for a few years until now thinking we may add elements later. That ultimately would have been wack and not matched.

Anyway, to make it make sense in my mind as we are posting it now I’ve come to the realization that the beautiful sky that was captured that day is like water (pretty much is water 😂) and the re realization that me accepting that everything is not “perfect” is being like water also. Things happen as they are supposed to though, so this is right on time, I already know. I hope you love it like we do. My verse is one of my favorites I’ve written, and Eli and Elighs’s parts go crazy too!🤙🏼🤙🏼

Good Elevation to ya…

years ago i wanted to shoot a music video comprised of only photos, no video. Altho video is simply a bunch of images together anyhow, it’s still different. lo sent me this song and immediately i said bruh this shits fire we gotta shoot a video for it. the verse structure correlates perfect to burst shooting. the video has 725 photos stitched together. these are photos from the video. we shot this in downtown Riverside, for each burst id let know lo which line we were shooting. id say 3,2,1 go and snap the bursts as he spit each line. for ‘b roll’ i got some bursts of just him posed etc. towards the end of the shoot, a massive rain storm happened and we just moved from spot to spot; literally determined to finish the shoot; no matter what. if u haven’t watched yet, go peep it. this song is dope. lyrics dope. beat dope. i love being able to jus go wit the flow and run n gun style shootin. im my most true self when i can go where the wind takes me, so to all you artists who know that feeling… dont get stuck wit everyone else’s style or vibe… go do shit ur way. go create art… no matter what. by @eyeofevan
