It is an investigation into the desired. Curved lines recurring throughout the collection elevate the hidden onto the surface of outerwear, drawing inspiration from the lines and forms of menโ€™s underwear. Elements conventionally perceived as intimate are unveiled as present, transparent, and exposed. In a world of masculinity associated with rigidity and resilience, I reveal fractures that express a desire for softness and gentleness, while designing alternative possibilities that emerge from within myself. My project reflects a collection of my own explorations: where I come from, where I am going, and where I belong. Throughout the development, an androgyny emerged - suggesting that things are not always as clear or fixed as they might seem. Continuing this same exposing movement, I draw upon my hidden birthmark as a metaphor for embracing what already exists - broken, unique, and imperfect. It becomes a tool for redefining the boundaries between body and garment, and an emblem of leaving my mark on the world. Materials: silk, wool, linen, transparent leather, viscose, cotton.
