So back in June I decided that it was a good idea to embark on a 272 mile long hike across the beautiful Vermont landscape. I was very hopeful.

I set a very ambitious goal to finish before the 4th of July, and it’s safe to say I definitely made it back before then.

I in fact was the biggest jerry out there, but I will embrace that.

One of the only signs I was able to read on this whole trip was a very strongly worded one that was anti-balloon💥💥 and I learned how to say white wine in all the languages too 🍾🍾 by @ez_avery

Well now that that’s over it’s time for the after party 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ who knows how I’ll be able to top the past 4 years but best believe I’m gonna try.

Hope the boats can be carried in my absence 🚤

when the weekend started, there was a brilliant idea to start a drink tab. unfortunately we lost count after night 1.

as this semester comes to a close, I don’t even think I have words to describe it. Realistically it was a blur the entire time, but youknow what, I would have it no other way. There’s still one more year left, and best believe we will go out with a bang 🫨🫨

Oh and of course, we’re always reminded to “sip slowly”. Something I’ve yet to master 🍾 taken in USC by @ez_avery

For those who are not aware of what “plowed” means, I strongly encourage you to incorporate it into your daily vocabulary. Basically it is a synonym for hammered. That is the main way I would describe this break. 💂‍♀️ by @ez_avery

After signing up for Ironman California in the Spring, I went home to train at beautiful Lake Morey over the summer. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my bike home with me. I also didn’t have a large interest in running. I only swam while bundled. Many people were skeptical of my training plan. I will keep their names anonymous. (For now) (This is blackmail)

This was my first ever bike ride that I didn’t get a flat tire. It is safe to say that all of my bad luck was extinguished after the bike box and apple watch box situations. Also, the untraditional aero position helped me pass at least 4 people. I then met @vicstr333 around mile 13 of the run, and we did the rest of the race hand in hand. Some called us an unlikely pair, but I say we were meant to be.

Did I get first place? No. But did I get last place? Hellnaw.

Thanks to all the lovers and haters who fueled this journey. And also the countless @redbull. I’m waiting for the day they finally decide to sponsor me.

I would say the motto of the past few weeks was “I’m in the weeds” which applied to me nearly every day. For those who are not aware, the weeds are something that is exclusive to Vermont. Seen are some pictures of me in and out of the weeds

I was forced to walk in the fairlee Vermont 4th of July parade. I was duped into believing I was driving a golf cart but showed up and had to walk around 2 miles with téa. We barely made it to the end but since I was on aux I had to make it.

There was a major highlight during epic boys as well, which unfortunately is not pictured here because it’s too epic. Wow

This year I did not have to work the 4th of July thanks to boss benny. Realistically we should thank him for this content.

I like to say that the journey is more important than the end, but I think that the most important thing is robins water station. Thanks mom.

Lastly I want to acknowledge that turkeys cannot be purchased at the self check out in winco foods, but other things can 🌟🌟 taken in Lake Morey by @ez_avery

So this is my spring break post that is coming a little late. 😾 There is a long and complicated story to describe the night before I left but we will save that for a later date.
Barbados was very fun. There was no lack of excitement because I made friends with so many old people at the bar (and @amiekent_ ) Another big exciting moment came during the car trip around the island. We used a paper map and this created a LOT of tension among the group.
When I went to the grocery store, they had so many types of bread it was amazing (slide 4) but I received a lot of backlash for not choosing the right kind. I don’t think there is a wrong kind of bread and was very happy. But then I accidentally bought cheese with hidden meat (oops!)
On my return to cold and rainy Los Angeles, I had many layovers. One included a place that may not be named (because I’m in trouble with their border control) and they told me to arrive alive. Luckily I did!
