Throughout these past four years, I realized a lot of people consistently assumed I had it all together. The high grades. The impressive internships. A through-and-through mapped-out blueprint to achieve success on a road that seemed so clear.

But that honestly couldn’t have been further from the truth.

To only a few’s knowledge, sophomore year was the most difficult times in college for me. I failed my first-ever class in my academic history, which shattered me. I felt completely lost and started questioning everything. Did I make a mistake switching to Computer Science? Was I smart enough to get through the rest of this degree? You guys don’t know the half of the sleepless nights and quiet moments I spent alone, just wanting to throw in the towel man.

But when the road got completely dark, I reached a turning point. I stopped looking at the rejections and challenges, and really had to start trusting in God’s pacing for me.

So, I kept walking. I retook the class I failed. I applied to intern at the exact same company that had rejected me consistently for the past three years. I leaned on my village, locked in, and chose discipline and determination over dwelling on the many hardships I faced.

It was exhausting. But the struggle is where the grit is formed.

This video isn’t about celebrating the final destination, especially since this is just the beginning—it’s a testament to not giving up when life gets heavy.

To anyone reading this who feels like they’re falling behind or doubting their worth—whether it’s the grades, the missing internship, or the lack of a job offer right now: Trust and believe me when I say I’ve been there. I see you. Do not give up when it gets heavy. Keep fighting on. Your success is waiting for you at the end of the road. You just have to find the courage to continue walking through the unknown.
